I loved the location and the staff. The room was roomy and clean and nice. The bed was comfy. The sunset in the evening was lovely. The board walk and access to the beach was another highlight. It was nice to have a MWOven. The aircon worked great.

Must recommend this motel if staying in Wynyard, service is amazing, rooms are clean and have all facilities you could want. And a great view across the river to the golf club and close to town.

Absolutely love this place. The owners have done an amazing job with their hotel. It shines threw on every level. Looking forward to coming back soon :)

Comfortable beds, quiet location, spacious and updated room, good shower pressure. Close to the city centre, lovely river rivers, friendly reception staff.

I couldn’t recommend these guys highly enough. Although we had to cancel due to Melbourne lockdown again, these guys where so accommodating and patient and friendly. Refunded us without making a very stressful time even more stressful. Thankyou.

Accommodation was good however, our breakfast at the restaurant was all deep fried and bland I highly recommend going elsewhere for food.

Excellent accommodation in the Pods which are made from shipping containers. Luxurious and comfortable with everything provided for self catering or just relaxing. Close to the water and shops and services.

Just spent a lovely night at the Waterfront. Loved the little personal touches scattered throughout and the lollies on departure were a cute touch. The closeness of the pub just outside the gate was handy and LOVED the funky shipping container accommdation.

Top spot, friendly hosts! Loved the communal area for reading spots, the library, seating, breakfast, location and Deluxe room is way above average for a motel. King size bed with best linen tastefully chosen. Coffee pods & nice teas with quality crockery. The new boardwalk will be great!

Typical and comfortable motel accommodation in a quiet town and close to water and the sea. No bath but a shower. Breakfast is available and the owner is very pleasant and accommisating and the dog!

Great accommodation that doesn't take itself too seriously, the basket of sin is seriously tempting. Rooms are clean and cozy with a comfy bed and good shower and the staff are very friendly and eager to please.

A great place to take your family for dinner. All the locals eat here. Great steaks and thr mini — pavlova is brilliant.

Thanks a lot Waterfront Wynyard. Great location, central to everything. Loved it how welcoming pets were. Our little labrador made a new friend and loved staying inside. She also got a couple of smackoes :). Very welcoming and accommodating staff. Real locals with real love and passion for their business, something you don't often see in big motel/hotel chains. Also loved the kayaks available for hire and the little gift at the end. Would recommend!

Wynyard motel was very accomodating on our first visit there 12months ago. The main reason we selected this place, it was “pet friendly” Our dog Katie loved her 3 day stay there
Location was excellent. Could not fault anything about the place.

Great location. Outside needs a facelift but it seems that its about to get painted — various sample colours appeared on one wall this morning. Weird huge pillows but comfy bed. Nicely renovated bathroom. Good bedside reading lamps which is a lovely change! Walls between rooms not very sound proof! Plates and cutlery etc well supplied. Receptionist a very lovely friendly young professional — I would employ her anytime!

Lovely place, grate service! The room comes with a kettle, a toaster, a fridge and a microwave. Nice walk up the Inglis river not far from the hotel.

Container pod is really comfortable. Beautifully designed ideal home pod. Be surprised. Ultra clean, peaceful and breezy. You can charge EV here as well as two Tesla wall chargers. Fore Shore walk is great. Perfect holiday gateways. The nook room is lovely. We love the curtain.

Arrived in the evening, very helpful staff at reception and check-in. Rooms are good, but walls are thin and noises from next door can easily be heard. Breakfast was good (lovely local cheese).

We spent 3 glorious nights here. And if you are looking for the best bed in Wynyard look no further. The king size bed was glorious, and the pillows soft as clouds. We slept so well every night.
Excellent Wi-Fi… In fact the best we encountered in our trip through Tasmania.
Breakfast was a simple and tasty affair. My son loved the eggs on toast so much he requested we cook it 'just like this' when we get back home. So a big shout out to the master chef in the kitchen.
The only downside was the shower, it was a bit of hard work dealing with the slow trickle and the temperature was very touchy.
That being said it would not deter us from staying here again.
Staff were always happy, ever so polite, and a pleasure to deal with.
Check in and out was super fast.
Could not recommend this place more highly.

Typically of most provincial town motel there is a personal touch to the service. This place has good, clean and comfortable accommodation. The internet is fast and the breakfast is excellent.

Good place to overnight 7 bucks for internet not too shabby has a restaurant.

This motel was very friendly and comfortable, but they may look into the cleaning side of things as the coffee cups and spoons needed to be washed before we could use them.
