This hotel is just beautiful. The original concrete walls of the silos are beautifully included in the rooms and hotel facilities. Staff are friendly and professional. All amenities are modern and stylish. There is a hotel dog called Archie who has a bed and toys at Reception which is just so lovely when you are on holidays away from your fur babies! I think all hotels should have dogs! We can’t wait to return to this hotel.

It is a great place, we eat there a few times a year, but have never stayed. The staff are friendly, helpful. Give it a look.

Just left Peppers Silo not long ago and l am so grateful for my wonderful experience there. The hotel had a real calming vibe about it… the decor was modern yet earthy, l had the best massage in the day spa and the food was amazing… that’s saying something given l am vegan. My greatest compliment goes to the staff, they made me feel so welcome and at home… l felt like l was amongst friends. A can’t forget a special mention for Archie, it was so nice to have a furry member of the team. I enjoyed our walks and loved the smiles he generated… a real happy place. I know that l’ll be recommending Peppers Silo and l will be back soon. Thank you 🙏🏼

We stayed at a couple of different hotels while in Tasmania but Peppers Silo was by far the best one. Lovely rooms, friendly staff, great food and very reasonable prices. Will definitely stay again next visit.

We didn't want to leave… The suite we had was so spacious and felt very luxurious. Extremely impressed with riverbend park and what has been done with the area.

Absolutely beautiful venue to stay. Our room was beautiful, stunning view off the little balcony. All staff were wonderful, very friendly and welcoming and offered to help us with all our bags etc at check in and check out. Archie the Silo Dog is so sweet and such a good boy! Our six month old son, Noah, enjoyed giving him some pats this morning before leaving. Thank you very a lovely night away ☺️

Spent our 10th wedding anniversary at Peppers Silo and they made it extra special because of their great room and excellent service. Didn't have any dramas or issues, just good time.

We cannot praise the staff more for the exceptional care we were given the last couple of days when my daughter became unexpectedly unwell. They continued to check on us, bring us supplies and all of our requests were met with a smile and very friendly staff. We are disappointed we missed out on all the activities we had planned but will definitely be back (over and over again) the hotel is beautiful, clean and very comfortable and Archie the dog was a very welcome surprise. The biggest thank you to everyone.

Wonderful hotel! I loved staying here for the Launceston Cup and cannot recommend this enough.
From the warm welcome and very early checkin permitted to all the little details (like making up a fold out bed without being asked and at no additional charge), everything was seamless. And the beds are so comfortable! It is lovely hotel with truly excellent staff. Thank-you!

We stayed for our honeymoon when Peppers Silo Hotel first opened. Absolutely loved it. Friendly service, great rooms, thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast that was included, and the room service. Wheelchair accessible.

We had a lovely lunch in the restaurant yesterday — not a large menu, but it doesn't need to be — there's a good selection with a few dishes that aren't your usual lunchtime fare.
We were well looked after by the staff — attentive but not obtrusive and would happily go back and have the same meals again today.
We'd had a small issue at our previous visit but this was very quickly attended to at the time and their response to our feedback was both grateful and positive and changes were very quickly made.
We would happily recommend the hotel and restaurant to others.

Silos is not only an exceptional venue but the staff are attentive, they go above and beyond and such a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend as the go to place in launceston to stay, eat, relax or have any event (food is excellent).

Hotel was great, very clean and new. The facilities were excellent. The restaurant was very open and would imagine it will have a great view once the development finishes. The staff were knowledgable and very attentive.

Wasn't staying but went for the breakfast buffet. Amazing food with an egg station. I enjoyed it so much and spent most of the week after thinking about their mushrooms and tomatoes, that I went back and was not disappointed the second time either. Definitely need to check it out!

They do a buffet breakfast daily for $27. It is amazing. The flavour they get in their tomatoes and mushrooms is unbelievable! I recommend it to everyone that likes a hot breakfast!

Nice new facility well designed around the silos and keeping the cylindrical theme. Was a bit surprised to see a very freindly dog at reception. He did manage to escape for a few friendly pats. I was told he is available for walks if the patrons so desire.

Exceptional in so many ways… We stayed in the Gorge view room on the 7th floor. Love the concrete curved wall and furnishings and the bed was super comfy with full black out curtains. I've had lunch there, eaten shared platter menu in a function and the buffet breakfast (complete with omelette station) and all of the food is top quality and full of flavour. Service was high quality and the waitstaff knew the ins and outs of the menu. Then there's Archie the dog in reception. He's gorgeous! Oh and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

A sense of pride and excitement as we approached this new and innovative development, which has recently opened in our home city. Realising as we approached that there was no striking entrance with a welcoming reception area was a little disappointing. Entering the building was equally disappointing. There was the need to search the signage to find the check in location, which is actually on the 1st floor. Great under cover parking is a bonus for guests, as is the spa and gym. Sadly our stay wasn't long enough to experience these. It was great to see patrons relaxing in the casual lounge area and it wasn't until the following morning we realised that the floor to ceiling windows in this area looked great! We were unable to experience the restaurant menu due to a private function on the evening. Hoping that in the future there may be the capacity to cater for both functions and the public. Woody's Bar was extremely busy with long waiting times, whilst the bar in the restaurant had four staff who were not busy and reluctant to assist patrons. Teething problems we imagine that should iron out. Breakfast buffet was well catered for with a great selection of hot and cold options, along with various beverages and very helpful staff. The outdoor area great too! The room was fantastic! Loved the cement feature walls from the silo and other use of Tasmanian wood. The bathroom was reminiscent of our accommodation set into the cliffsides of Oia in Greece. Loved it!

Impressive building with big open windows. Went to cafe at lunchtime. Groovy music. Will be even more appealing once its landscaped with trees etc instead of industrial sites/ bunnings! I tried to order gluten free lunch and apparently menu has changed so a staff member went to kitchen to ask. I never heard back from him or the guy at the till again. Left with empty stomach while my mum had soup with a dessert spoon she was given to drink it with. My sister got fish and chips with no salad so she had to chase this up which she had paid for. I had this impression that with beautifully dressed staff and an awesome building, the service would be impressive… mmm not really sure anymore! :)

Extremely disappointed with the so called ‘GLUTEN FREE’ options on your menus. These aren’t gluten free at all! Your hand cut chips you state are GF but cross contaminated by your fryers. Your Wagyu beef burger states GFO, but breadcrumbs in the burgers. We came to experience a new dining place that can cater for coeliacs to be let down!
It’s very simple, don’t falsely advertise that things are gluten free or have options to be gluten free when you can’t. You are putting peoples health at risk!

I cant wait to see how awful this place will look and feel when I rub my body against it. You know will make it great? If instead of making it a hotel we should make a nuclear silo. This nuclear silo will protect us from the incoming Asian tourists taking are jobs and taking our homes. End the commie asians.

It's currently being built. The plans look great. Guests will be able to stay in a new hotel building or the connected and refurbished grain silos (with windows. ) It's going to be an amazing hotel with the best river view in town. The area is a bit industrial, but I am sure there will be more commercial development nearby in the future.
