Wouldn’t recommend staying here. Our room was cleaned once and during that time, 3 cosmetics items were stolen! They were not cheap items and the hotel wasn’t interested in compensating or looking into the matter properly? What a shame as the hotel itself was good, beds were comfortable and location was great! Very disappointed ☹️
I was very disappointed with our stay in Apartment 22 on the night of 13 March. Considering the price of over $400 per night, the standard of the apartment fell well below expectations.
The televisions in both rooms were not working, and one could not even be plugged in as there was no power point available. The lamp in my daughter’s room was broken, the windows were dirty, and the apartment appeared overdue for repainting, with numerous marks visible on several walls. The bed in the master bedroom also seemed too large for the room, making it difficult to access comfortably.
The exterior of the building looked quite worn and unkempt. The courtyard had clearly not been swept for some time and had a stark, uninviting appearance.
I cannot comment on the condition of the other apartments, but unfortunately our experience in Apartment 22 was extremely disappointing, particularly given the premium nightly rate. We won't be back.

This Quest hotel is the best place to stay when visiting Hobart. The views from the site are beautiful and the hotel staff is very friendly. I really liked my stay, but I do have one suggestion. I stayed in a ground-floor one-bedroom apartment, and the washing machine on the second floor was very noisy at night. If you can manage or limit the use of the laundry at night, it would make the stay perfect.
