An absolutely fantastic stay. A really magical warmth unlike I have ever experienced in my life, something out of a studio Ghibli film.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this place, and I can't recommend it highly enough! Mr. Sunny (the owner) was incredibly friendly and attentive.

Decent but other guests can be a bit noisy when leaving.

Clean comfortable with all you need but a tad noisy.

Close to all amenities within the city, with most in walking distance.

Absolutely beautiful and in the perfect location for restaurants, parks and amenities. The decor is a show stopper. Unique and bespoke. For a boutique hotel, they have gone the extra mile.

This was an absolute beautiful place to stay. The hosts were amazing, fresh oysters a great experience and dwelling and locations were divine.

What an incredible place to stay! The pictures don’t do it justice, it really is such a beautiful home with the most amazing views through the large windows to the water.

Beautiful period guesthouse. We stayed for two nights in the F O Henry room. It’s like stepping back in time. The hosts were very welcoming and communication pre arrival was excellent.

I absolutely loved staying in this beautiful period home.

Our stay at the Strahan Bungalows in Strahan, Tasmania was nothing short of fabulous. The bungalows themselves were immaculate—spacious, well-equipped, and thoughtfully designed for comfort.

This is an excellent place to stay in Strahan. Clean, spacious, very comfortable with a complimentary laundry out back.
We had 3 nights here and thought it was great value for money.

A lovely place full of history and very helpful hosts. The little Bentmore cottage was very charming and comfortable — we loved it!

My Husband and I stayed in Bentmore Cottage part of Belmont Homestead. It was the most beautiful accommodation and a real credit to our hosts Maureen and John.

Loved the view and location right in the heart of Stanley 🤩.
The 2 Double/Queen beds were really hard and uncomfortable. Definitely need an upgrade.

Great two day stay. Cute town and lots to see. Big studio type room. They charge if you use washing machine and dryer.

Had a lovely seafood platter here tonight. Staying two nights here and definitely will be back tomorrow. Was the best seafood we’ve had in Tasmania so far. Extremely fresh and cooked too perfection.

Inexpensive three star accommodation that's close enough to the Maria Island cruise we'd booked for early the following morning. Room was basic, as expected, but solid enough.

Very clean and very friendly staff, we were stuck in Bicheno and desperate to find an accommodation in Hobart, friendly and helpful staff member has been very helpful by getting us 2 bedroom

A good location close to the port and lots of choice of places to eat. First impressions weren’t good — parking is an extra cost of $15 per night, that’s not on the websites!

Absolutely amazing experience. Great location and view with soothing sea breeze. Great price for the quality rooms.

What a wonderful surprise. Room was very large with plenty of places to put bags. Up! Bathroom freshly renovated and the view! Out of this world!

We stayed at Flotsam Seaside Accommodation for two nights in October and really enjoyed our stay. It is a very comfortable standalone studio right on the edge of Dunalley Bay.

This is truly an amazing place to stay. We enjoyed the canoes and walking the beach. The wild life is a must at night.

Actually we had a pleasant stay at formby hotel. We booked a bunk bed room with shared toilets. Toilets are very clean. They clean it regularly. Worth for money.

Stayed for 1 night after getting off the Spirit of Tasmania, as it is close by & was very reasonably priced. The rooms were basic but very clean & the bed was comfortable.

Had a lovely meal here tonight. We even bought our leftovers home for tomorrow the meals were a really good size.

We recently stayed in one of the Deluxe Caravans at Longford on two occasions in February 2026.
The caravan had everything we could need and was very well presented.

Right on river, great outlook and peaceful. Amenities very clean, well kept and up to date. Staff very friendly.

Great stay overall, with minor points for improvement. The check in and check out process was easy, with the staff being pleasant to deal with.

So close to being a great place, but just missing on a few points. While clean, it felt dated. Kitchen benches were scratched and the place just needed a bit of TLC.

Thank you so much to the team at Villa Howden (Maggie and Philip being a stand out). We had the privilege of having 5 nights stay here with some of our families and friends for our wedding.

Phil the Manager was superb. He consistently went the extra mile in terms of hospitality, care and friendliness. We felt thoroughly spoilt.

I really enjoyed it, the location was perfect, walking distance to the visitor center. In a ten minute drive I found a good restaurant too, but you may take lunch at the visitor center too.

As someone else mentioned its just a converted garage but with a double bed nice bathroom/shower/laundry.
A couple of things though which haven’t been fixed.

Travelodge Hobart exceeded all our expectations during our multi-night stay. The location is unbeatable for exploring the city, situated right in the heart of town.

Beautiful clean rooms, very comfy beds and pillows, bathroom well appointed, friendly staff, easy to find, great location to food, supermarket, shops, harbour etc we enjoyed our stay we extended for

Best location in town. Everything is walking distance.
Nice food in the restaurant. Rooms are great and spacious. Quirky old building with corridors leading around the building.

We loved our stay at this hotel. The location was perfect. Our room overlooked the harbor with beautiful sunrise views. The beds were comfy.

On arrival we were greeted warmly by reception and processed quickly. The rooms were clean and the bathroom easy to access.

Susan was very helpful have excellent customer service. The manager Mel is fantastic at reception and is interacting well with people. Dimity is very lovely and easy going. The rooms are very clean.
