Hotels in Kyoto with Breakfast

We had an amazing 3 days staying at Hotori. Yuri and Sanyuri were extremely helpful with their support and communication.

We loved Villa Hotori! It was a highlight of our trip to Japan! The house is so beautiful and relaxing, and staying at Hotori was an incredible experience.

Let me start from the bad side of the hotel. The room was too crowded for four people and we had no space to open our luggage.
The rest was pretty decent considering the price.

Had a general OK experience. The room was cramped a bit, and it was cleaned only once every 2-3 days.
The staff were friendly and nice generally but they don't speak English which is weird.

The place where you feel like home❤️the owners are true gem❤️❤️❤️accommodation, food, location — 100 out of 10💖
Best homemade Japanese vegan food ever💖
Despite its the traditional house they have the

Best experience ever, the mutu family were super friendly and welcoming, they are very nice people really, the house is so adorable and sleeping on floor was best sleep I had.

We really enjoyed our stay at Campton Kiyomizu.

This is a beautiful old style hotel in the heart of the old touristy area of Kyoto. The place was huge by Japan standards. Two big bedroom and a large common living area for TV and eating.

I loved my stay here. The room was comfy and bright, and easy walking distance to what is the beautiful city of Kyoto! Highly recommended.

The location is near most iconic spots in Kyoto, very convenient, and the room is just perfectly comfortable after a long day of strolling around the city.

Our stay at Kigusuriya couldn’t be more perfect. From the room (we booked the Japanese style room for 5 people) to the food to hospitality, we felt so spoiled and relaxed during our stay.

We are a family of 3 and had an amazing 1 night stay at Ryokan KIGUSURIYA.
This is exactly what we were looking for : more authenticity.
We were warmly welcomed by the owner.

Traditional room and experience. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. The traditional breakfast was amazing — tip: order less than you would otherwise because it is a lot of food.

You get what you pay for considering the look and the bathrooms in the rooms.

Wonderful staff, friendly and helpful. The common kitchen and interaction around the large table encourages open discussion and sharing of experiences by people from every walk of life.

We had a lovely stay at Fujitaya. We had a very quiet and convenient room with a lot of space. Definitely great value for the price.

The best hospitality in Kyoto! The entire staff was super welcoming and friendly, and we were well taken care of throughout the stay. The room was very spacious and the onsen was relaxing.

This hotel delivers an amazing experience, blending aesthetic beauty, Japanese tradition, comfort, and warm hospitality.

Almost hesitant to review this place — it is so charming. One of my favorite rooms ever.

A place you can relax and enjoy time with yourself and with your loved one. You can find very high quality in every details, from interior design to the facility and small things like towels.

The hostel is in a very well-located area, close to the station. The rooms are very comfortable, although the breakfast could be improved.

Meticulously clean, super friendly staff, great facilities for a hostel. Breakfast was good with a selection of different breads. Close to public transport.

First time traveling to Japan, we found out this place to practice traditional Japanese archery. Really kind people working in there and amazingly friendly people.

The location is great. Literally on the street with many stores, restaurants and activities.
The room is large, no huge. It has both a traditional living room with tatami and a modern living room.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! It’s in a great location, making it very easy to get to all the interesting spots in Kyoto.

The hotel was great, honestly the only thing I didn't like was not having a window. Also my allergies went crazy here too but the main lady who works there was so nice and accommodating!

Our experience was simply wonderful.

Our stay at Matsui Bekkan Hanakanzashi exceeded expectations. The room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully traditional while still offering modern comfort.

Excellent accomodations within easy walking distance of Nijo Station. Do keep in mind that the Guest House is closed between noon and 5pm. The host, Tomi, is wonderful and very kind.

Tommy-san was very accommodating and always checked in to make sure everything is alright. Wish I could have stayed a few more nights but I’ll save that for another time.

I have to say that I don't know the low review. It's a very good place. Food is great, service is great. It's very spacious.
Price range is also normal.
I had a very good experience these 3 days.

We had a wonderful stay at this ryokan and would absolutely recommend it. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel very welcome and took the time to show us around and explain everything.

My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful 3 night stay here at Yadoya Manjiro. Upon walking in through the gate the stone path was well manicured, lush, and inviting.

Probably the best hotel experience I‘ve ever had. The rooms are beautiful, the location is amazing and the service and hospitality is the best I have ever seen.

Stumbled upon this hotel as a destination between Kanazawa and Kyoto — ended up being one of the more magical nights of our time in Japan!
Timeless service, traditional style, unique food.

Like no where else in the world! Our stay at Genmyoan could not have been better, it was absolutely sublime.
