Kyoto hotels with breakfast

Absolutely amazing hotel. We have just enjoyed 14 fabulous nights in one of their spacious, beautifully appointed suites on the top floor, where they even provide you with fresh pyjamas each night.

This hotel was such a great find. Excellent location & room was perfect for family of four (from Australia) with two teenagers without having to book two hotel rooms.

Rooms are generally nice and pretty spacious for Japanese standard. Service was good in my opinion as the staff tries their best to assist me when my luggage was damaged by Yamato Transport.

I stayed at both Mitsui Garden Hotel Kyoto Kawaramachi and the Kyoto Station branch during my trip.

Absolutely loved my stay at hotel androoms. Room was large and comfortable, with a beautiful bathroom. Coat brush and shoe horn provided, as well as pajamas and other amenities.

Great place to relax and unwind after spending the day in Tokyo!  Staff were extra kind and extremely helpful.  The facilities and decor are top-notch.

We stayed at hotel tou for a total of 5 nights in October. We stayed at the superior queen suite for 3 nights and the terrace suite for 2 nights.

We stayed here for 5 days to explore Kyoto and Osaka. Several things about the hotel stand out. The friendliness of all the staff, both at reception and in the breakfast room.

Had a fantastic stay here :) the service is great, check in was easy and quick, and we got free welcome drinks/coffee. The rooms are small but clean and cozy with a desk, and the bathroom is great.

Our stay at Fauchon Hotel Kyoto was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and exceptional hospitality that made us feel right at home.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay truly five stars from the very beginning. From the moment we arrived, the receptionist made our visit feel incredibly special.

I was very happy with my stay here. Kyoto was towards the end of my trip and throughout the past two weeks I’ve gotten very used to tiny hotel rooms, with tiny bathroom and showers.

Location is perfect for shopping and transport. It’s in the middle of the busy shopping area with access to metro and all bus lines. Rooms are big by Japanese standards.

I’ve stayed at Richmond hotels before, so I had high expectations, and this stay didn’t disappoint! The room was very spacious, with plenty of space to work, not just a small desk for a laptop.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights during our Kansai trip with our family of four. Unfortunately our booking through Agoda was not accurate.

A really special hotel stay. The converted townhouses are beautiful with amazing amenities. The rooms are comfortable and clean and service was very friendly.

The rooms were really nice. Love the outdoor bath attached to the room. If you plan on spending a lot of time in your room, get a bigger room. Heated floors in the bathroom.

I really liked my stay at the hotel. The staff was cordial and tried its best, even with the linguistic barrier.

Perfectly located just opposite Toji station with literally a 5 minute rail ride to Kyoto central station. Rooms are nice, quite spacious for Japan, and the breakfast is good.

We had a wonderful stay at Terrace Kiyomizu during our trip to Kyoto. We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights.

Great hotel near many attractions, restaurants and bus lines. Staff is very nice and attentive. The room is spacious and clean.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel for 3 nights. Its room was clean and well organized with modern furniture and equipment. It offers many washers and dryers as well as ice machine and microwave oven.

Excellent location a short walk to the longest street of shops and restaurants. The room.
Is very small but clean and all the facilities you need are provided.

I really enjoyed my stay at Kabin Hotel Kyoto. The design is very modern and stylish, with a cool, new-school vibe that makes the place feel fresh and comfortable right away.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was spotless and a good size by Kyoto standards, with thoughtful design throughout. We absolutely loved the shower — easily one of the best we’ve experienced!

Very clean and modern looking rooms. The staff is really polite and they offer a lot of additional free benefits.
You get a bunch of value for the price. Can't recommend ot enough.

This hotel was absolutely wonderful! The room was spacious and the futon beds were incredibly comfortable. I also want to give a huge shoutout to the staff, who were so helpful!

The double room at this hotel is quite spacious. Location-wise, it's a bit far from tourist attractions (Gion, temples, etc) — but very close to the bus station.
Overall, I really liked this hotel.

We spent 3 nights in Deluxe Twin which comes with tatami flooring. Contactless check-in and check-out was efficient. They gave us a room on high flloor with kyoto tower view which was awesome.

Pros — clean, humidifer in room and close to station.
Cons.
1) not a single international TV channel.

We had an excellent stay! All staff we encountered were friendly, professional and accomodating. The hotel itself seemed very clean and well-maintained.

This was one of my favorite places to stay in Japan. It was a quiet family-owned place offering ultimate hospitality. They even drove me to Kyoto station when it was time to leave.

Very nice family running a small family Inn. Would recommend to stay here if you are not sure what you want to do, the family is very helpfull.

The hotel is conveniently located next to Kyoto Station. It was a 5 mins walk once u exit the station.

Amazing hotel. Very accessible, the Kyoto Station is within 3 min walk distance. It has access to buses, subways, and bullet trains.

I just moved from a 4 star to this 3 star and the beds are bigger, comfier and the room is more spacious. Self check in was simple, Wi-Fi works and AC too.

Just enjoyed our 5D4N at Kyoto & we stayed at Hiz Hotel Gion Shirakawa as our base. Very charming apartment hotel.

This is a hotel that truly makes you feel comfortable and eager to return.
The service quality is outstanding.

I had a very pleasant stay so I’m giving it 5 stars. Very close to the train station and 3 convenience stores. At scheduled times, they would provide free udon and alcoholic beverages.

The hotel, location, and amenities were great. Staff at the front desk spoke great English and the luggage forwarding was a fantastic touch. The room was spacious and comfortable.

Excellent hotel centrally located in Gion, highly walkable to top sights, restaurants, small local shops and massive shopping malls. The staff is great, friendly and efficient.

This was my first trip to Japan and I stayed in Kyoto for three days and two nights. The Grand Bach was absolutely awesome and I would recommend it for anyone but especially solo travellers.

Great location — right off of a busy street but still very quiet. We loved how close it was to Nishiki Market and Gion area. The rooms are very, very small, but typical for being in Japan.

We stayed at Hotel Amanek Kyoto and had a very good experience. The staff were super friendly, and the rooms were very clean.

Great service and lovely staff, has its own sento which was always quiet. They also gave free juice/tea. It was easy to walk to the centre and there were frequent buses right out the front.

Good location, easy to access on several bus lines and close to a subway. Easy walk for walkers. Laundromat 5 mins walk away, not in hotel. Room larger than average hotel room, that is nice!

This was a great hotel to stay at. Really friendly reception staff. Helped with booking taxis etc.
Good location with a number of restaurants in easy walking distance.
