This place was AMAZING, exllent service, really warm atmosphere, all the staff was kind and accommodating, we been there for 4 night. And they are provided free loundry for us. Twice.

Garden Villa Denshin An is a place of serenity, thoughtfully designed with lots of attention to details. Yu and the staff were genuine, kind and attentive, making us feel welcome from the start.

This place is absolutely perfect. We will stay here again if we return to Kyoto.
It is not in the main downtown area.

This ryokan is a quiet retreat away from the busy-ness of Kyoto. Seryo's owners and staff are very welcoming, professional, and helpful. The meals were excellently crafted with fresh ingredients.

Had a great time here. Honestly no idea how this place is priced this way but it feels like a 350 per night ryokan for 1/3 the cost.

The rooms are traditional, you sleep on futons on the floor but they were surprisingly comfortable! The chairs for the table are also low. There is an elevator.

Good location and within walking distance to downtown Kyoto (around 2-15 minutes), yet maintain the suburb feel, quiet at night.

I loved this hotel. The staff were very kind and provided my family and me with all the support we needed. The rooms were clean, and they offered both hot and cold drinks as complimentary services.

Twin-Japanese Style was cozy and quiet, the public bath and the sauna were awesome beyond our expectations! The mattresses were PEAK PERFECTION. I never had a more comfortable bed.

I stayed there 4 nights in October 2024. It's the best hotel I did during my stay in Japan. My room was cleaned daily, there were a lot of services and the staff was helpful.

The room was quite spacious for Kyoto and had a very good shower. We were fine; the only downside was that it was far from everything—central in the city, but away from the main attractions.

Beautiful traditional Japanese style hotel with a garden view in the middle of the room. We stayed for 4 people and the room was huge and spacious with 4 very comfortable beds.

I absolutely loved my stay at The OneFive Kyoto Shijo. Among the three hotels I stayed at during my trip across Osaka, Kyoto, and Tokyo, this one was by far my favorite.

The room was very spacious! especially the bathroom. The room overall was well above Japanese size standards. The room was super clean, great air conditioning. The location is also perfect.

The free bicycles are a very good way of traveling through Kyoto. I recommend this place. The staff were nice.

We stayed in Kyoto for a week and I’m so glad we chose Roku Roku as our base. Every single day it felt like coming back home, the room was quite big and really comfortable!

Good location. Good facilities. The lounge has a coffee machine which is very nice. My room was wide enough that I can manage my things and I can store my luggage outside in a compartment.

Here is a Capsule hotel, so the private space is small. But there are rest space on the first floor and I could have some snacks and drinks.

I booked a king bed room as a Titanium member. On check in I had a room with two beds pushed together to make a bigger bed.

I had amazing experience staying at Hotel Kitanoya for one night! I got the room with the private hot spring, which is very spacious and has all the things you need.

I stayed in a room with private hot spring for one night. It was an enjoyable experience. We jumped into the hot spring during mid night.

This was our first stay in this tourist area, and we chose this hotel for its location, hot springs, and price. The hot springs in particular were the best in the area.

I had an excellent stay at this hotel. It offers great value for money, with clean and well-maintained rooms. The staff were attentive and friendly, especially in the restaurant.

Stayed 2 nights at the hotel. Room we chose is 22m2 and relatively bigger than most hotel rooms in similar cost. The reception staffs are very friendly and helped us check in via the kiosk.

I stayed at Chojiro Royal Park Canvas Kyoto Nijo for a few nights and overall had a very pleasant experience.

Homm Stay in Kyoto is easily the best hotel stayed at so far in Japan.

We loved it. Huge room was literally four times the size of our Tokyo hotel rooms. Staff is very friendly. Balconies with good views in both the front & back rooms (just two rooms per floor).

The hotel is situated in a not-so-busy area but is so close to public transportation options. I am happy to discover the area, especially when I joined their activity to the Toji Temple.

A beautiful hotel with excellent amenities. Rooms were spacious by Japanese standards. The only thing that needs to be improved is the ventilation in the smoking room.

We stayed at Hotori Villa for 4 nights with 2 adults and 2 children. The villa was traditional and tranquil. It was so beautifully decorated. Every appliance we needed was available.

Staying at Seikoro Ryokan was one of the best experiences of my life. This is my 3rd trip to Japan and 2nd trip to Kyoto. The first time, we stayed at the Four Seasons in Kyoto.

This was the best ryokan we have stayed at. We stayed at a few 5-star hotels in Japan and this was better than them all! Beds were the most comfortable and our suite had so much charm.

Very nice hotel, good value for money and great staff. Location is top notch! Right by the river, 20 walking minutes to the train station and 15-20 minutes to Old Town.

The entire hotel looks very new, clean, high tech, and well curated. The staff is very friendly and the services and amenities are really good!
