Nothing special… The staffs doesn't speak English and is basically unable to support you in any single query even if you translate your questions in the local language! The check-out takes ages, and they tempestively add extra charges to your bills! +Pros+ The location is quite optimal for touristic visits. The buffet is a quite reasonable charge and is definitely full of choices. The staffs at the buffet is much more polite than the receptionist!

Great hotel to stay when in Beijing. Free currency exchange at the reception, courtesy Bank Of China. Cosy coffee shop where you can order alcohol as well. Super close to Wangfujing market.

Most of the equipment has, from the MRT station is not far away, plus in fact the housing costs are not very expensive, if it is a free travel passengers are also quite recommended, the disadvantage is from the main lively area has a small distance, and hotel facilities are old, some equipment and neglect maintenance, often there are many small places people are not satisfied, such as poor remote control contact, poor remote control contact, Light switch card, shower door gap leakage, etc.

No way near a 5 star hotel I would rate it 3 star hotel, better get a cheaper 4 star hotel. Lobby is nice but the rooms are old, mouldy and torn. Especially the carpers in the room are very dirty! Changed 3 rooms before found decent room. First room was on 8 floor 2 floors below smoking floor but smell of smoke was present constantly. 7 the floor was ok but initial room offered had mouldy smell and alot of stains on the carpet. Also the in room safe broke luckly override key worked. Didn't use the replacement safe at all. Btw, the hotel overlooks a dump.

Good location in the city center a few meters from the shopping area and two blocks from the Lost city has all services pool, gym, restaurant, 100 meters from subway, taxis, clean excellent breakfast, have tours agency good friendly service and EXPL Icado.
To my taste hotel a little expensive, hire direct your reservation with the hotel so that you do not raise price through agency when you arrive + — 10% more ask you for warranty as 150 Usd that you return the difference.
There are better but more expensive price at the end of the day if I recommend.

The safe in our room failed, and their override key wouldn't work. We had all our IDs, passports, cash, and two laptops inside. They stated that this has happened before, but wouldn't accept liability for damage caused to the laptops if they be broke it open (they kept insisting it was our fault). Hours later they finally just broke it open, and fortunately nothing was damaged, but we lost hours on our trip, and they didn't do so much as comp us a meal. Never coming back.

Great hotel, clean and in perfect location to visit the city is eat in the evening.

It is an OK hotel. It have seen better days. It is 1990th luxury. Rooms small compared to other hotels we stay in China. Location is ok, about 15-20 min walk to shopping and sight seeing. Breakfast was about $15 per person even for kids taller then 1.2m. Photo is view from our window.

Formidable hotel, luxury, in the most commercial street in Beijing and very close to the Forbidden City.

The structure is quite classical with a scenic staircase in the entrance hall. Marble and wood everywhere with the reception on the bottom and on the two sides double lifts. Nearby is the Dongse Metro station Line 5 and 6 from here you can go everywhere. The connections are great and everything works.

Would not recommend this place. Def not a 5 star. Wifi did not work in the rooms like stated. Very annoying when searching the area. The rooms were comfortable and roomy tho. Carpets were not vacuumed. Staff was rude at front desk, dismissive. Bellman were no help and no english speaking staff so we missed our shuttle to airport as they were not clear as to where we catch it. They just kept pointing outside round corner. They were annoyed when we repeated our questions in that regard. So we ended up paying alot more for taxi. Nothing is free in the room except 2 waters. So be careful. The lady setting up a tours was the only helpful person. And awesome. Best part was dinner buffet.

Comfortable, not the equivalent of a 5-star Western but sufficient for a good stay, clean room, fairly quiet and beautiful view.

Quite an old hotel. The rooms are quite in need of renovation. There are in particularly a few rooms facing inwards & poolward which have very poor views, if you want to see stuff you'll have to avoid these. The lobby is probably the most impressive part. Overall not too bad of a hotel though, lots of different things you can easily get in your room (but they charge for almost every item).

These hotels I simply dirty. There's nothing special about these places and the prices are not very reasonable. They come off as hotels they may say three stars but truthfully there only a one star.

It's a 5-star type joint, and we stayed here for 6 nights. The pricing on upscale hotel rooms in Beijing is very competitive, and to me, as a traveler, hotels aren't where you want to try to save money. If you can get a good price on a beautiful hotel like this, it's totally worth it. That said, once you are here, you need to watch the spending in the restaurant, bar, spa etc. It can get very expensive, and the prices, as you might imagine, are no bargain. We accidentally opened a bottle of water in the room for a 60Y charge (woops, there goes $9). These rooms are super luxurious and comfortable. The carpeting, the smell, the marble floors, the view (we were on the 10th floor overlooking the city) — it's all great. There is bus stop out front, and the Subway (Dongsi stop) is a 10 minute walk. I would highly recommend the Prime Hotel.

Fantastic place to stay, very friendly staff with great food. One of the staff at the front desk named Sunny was extra helpful, friendly guy with excellent English! This hotel is close lots of stuff, highly recommend!

Room itself was good (except Wi-Fi was horrible) but location was far from the busy parts of Wangfujing. It was super quiet and not even any street lamps on at night. Also, our room cards had to be renewed almost every night as both would stop working. The staff were also unable to call a taxi for us and told us to hail one ourselves at the front, which we did, and subsequently got scammed by the driver. I expected them to be able to call one so that the chance of getting scammed would be less as we could trace back to the driver if the service was ordered over the phone.

Great hotel to stay at. Speak pretty good English. We stayed with a family of 4 and suited our needs well. Would return again.

Very good reception despite the language barrier but we could understand in English and yet mine is bad listening to its customers 24/24, no worries, close to the metro, request for taxi immediately, close to the Forbidden City. I had a problem not related to the hotel it helped me to solve it. Not tested neither the breakfasts nor the restaurants… but the pool is ok C is clean I think we just do not compare our 5 stars and those of China we keep a good memory of the hotel me and my children…

Terrible hotel! Not five stars. By strength, it's comparable to a Thai two. Silent horror … Don't overpay. It's not worth it! Frozen hard (slit in the windows, room for three tiny and littered with all sorts of shit for sale ( ( ( ( ( ( (the pool generally creepy sucks! disgusting! pointlessly thrown out 7500p per night! But everything is dirty and very old ( (the glass table seems to be faded/faded… Disgusting.

Unfriendly check in, good location, the equipment is a little bit worn, but nice rooms, breakfast is reasonable.
