Period August 2017 Humm… This is not a 5 star hotel… very bad value for money…
The rooms are not clean for a hotel of this range!
The staff are quite helpful and polite (rare in China…)!
Cons well placed on the big busy street with shopping etc…
I think adding a little we could have better…

Dated, tired, meh breakfast. Good location to center of Beijing, but not at all near metro station.

Nice hotel a little old, centrally located.

We had a very nice stay at this hotel after a very bad experience earlier on our trip to Bejing. Very competent staff, room was very clean even though there was a construction site outside we could not hear any noice what so ever inside the hotel. Free drinks on the room and we both got free breakfast when we had to run for our Chinese wall tour in the morning. All in all a very pleasant experience and good value for money.

I stayed with my family (2 toddlers) for 3 nights at this hotel. Since I am an IHG member, I have chosen the hotel. But I've never seen anything like it before. That was the worst service I've ever experienced.
Already started at the reception. The staff are so unfriendly that I have never experienced this before. Always had the feeling that they didn't want to help me. Also beware if your taxi tours to the Great Wall or the airport bay. The employees put a lot of the money in their own pocket. And that in such a prestigious hotel. So act down!
The rooms are very worn. The swimming pool also. There are also employees who do not speak English and I had to rumstreiten with my hands and feet with these 30 minutes.
The hotel management should always be replaced. In the Crowne Club room you can only get into Spire elite status, not as usual in all other Crowne Plaza Hotels with platinum status.
So, dear people. Avoid this hotel and look for another where value is placed on the guest.

Popular hotel in a central location.

Drinks were tasty and the facility was well kept. Staff was friendly.

Room was adequate, but quite dusty and smelled a little off. Staff was friendly and Helpfull.

Beijing roast duck restaurant with not to high price on the 2th floor.

This was a great hotel located in a great area to see the sites. Good luck getting a cab however, unless you are going over a couple of miles, the cabs do not like to take you anywhere. Attached picture is a view from the top floor restaurant.

Good hotel, good service good food. Have a decent gym area and a swiming pool. A girl playing piano at nights. Very comfortable.

Crowns for the holidays the first grade at the highest level is entirely consistent with, room, reception, pool was great love the second great location good pedestrian street of Wangfujing door Tiananmen Jingshan Park, the National Palace Museum is recommended,

Both dishes and the wine list, service, environment, as well as, have left a deep impression on us, environmental friends linger, reluctant to leave.

Horrible hotel ridiculously overpriced. Not in par or in standard with other Crowne Plaza. Don't book this hotel just by the name and that you have stayed and liked Crowne hotel. This hotel is very cheap like a motel. I don't recommend this hotel for any even though closest to many tourist attraction this hotel spoils the reputation of the Crowne Plaza hotels.

Quite frankly it is overpriced, but I guess that is what you get for a good location. The Wi-Fi is okay, and the staff's English is so so. Beijing has terrible air quality and actually made my eyes water. The gym and pool are up to par. The food is expensive, but actually pretty good in the hotel. I strongly suggest going to the mall 2 blocks away and going to a restaurant there because it is cheaper and better food overall. I went to Bellagios in that mall and the service and food was fantastic as well as Grandma's House.

There are not many shops around the vicinity.

Hotel was comfortable and attractive, staff very accomodating and spoke english, centrally located within the city, excellent breakfast was included, wide variety of choices. Our room located on the second floor overlooking the lobby. Very pleasant experience. Several in house restaurants offered a variety of choices, a little pricy. Local restaurants in easy walking distance. Good hotel, would certain be our choice when back in Beijing.
