Hotels in Alberta with a Pool

Second time I’ve stayed here. I love this hotel! The staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and pool is saltwater. They definitely have my business when I come to Edmonton. Great place!

Our stay was nice the service was amazing. We enjoyed our breakfast so much especially with the great food and service from Jeff and James! Thank you both.

Clean room. Slightly dated but I don’t mind. Close to Tim Hortons and golf zone (golf zone is amazing to) great staff that remember me as I stay here once every two weeks. Love this hotel.

Had an absolutely amazing stay at this hotel.

Clean, comfortable, good breakfast options (including hot chocolate pouches for making a mocha) — and as a Celiac I had choices. Attentive staff.

Best hotel in High Level. Clean, good parking, comfortable beds/rooms. Motivated and accommodating staff. I spend most of my life working on the road and I really appreciate places like this.

I was only here for 1 night but I had a pleasant experience. There was a burnt out bulb in my room but other than that the room was flawless!
The breakfast is what youd expect from a hotel.

We stay at the Southfort Inn whenever we come into the city because you can’t beat the prices, and the service is beyond excellent.

My stay at Merit Hotel and Suites was nothing short of exceptional.

Great prices, clean rooms, good vibes, but I came into some issues when ordering skip the dishes, elevators are key locked so they need to leave your order at the front desk with your room number.

The Staff were very kind and knowledgable about the city (Red Deer)
Anyone we asked, give wonderful recommendations for shopping & restaurant locations as well.

We've stayed for an extended stay and the staff have been absolutely amazing! Top teir staff. Front desk lady is so cheerful! Hello's and goodnights everyday! Matience man is so patient!

Great value for the price. Standard breakfast offerings. Pool and hot tub nice bonus. Lots of eateries within walking distance. Front desk was helpful. Loved the online check in and check out.

Stayed here for a one night stopover in Medicine Hat. Really quiet location, room was clean, really comfortable bed, and hot water for a shower.

Excellent and friendly service clean common areas and hallways. However or room’s temperature was very difficult to control. It was very stuffy.
The toilet paper holders were loose in the walls.

I was there recently due to my loved one being hospitalized at the Foothills Hospital. The staff was very kind and helpful. The rooms were clean and the hot breakfast was an appreciated perk.

I made a date error when I booked a room here through a third party. I showed up on the wrong day in the middle of the recent blizzard and highway closures having missed my reservation.

Staff were very helpful and pleasant. I had a room with windows facing 42nd and there was traffic noise so I could not open my window for some fresh air.

I recently stayed at the Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Calgary Downtown on February 4, 2026, and while the hotel itself provided a solid, comfortable experience, the staff truly made the stay memorable.

Wonderful service, the hotel personnel is one of the best in my experience, especially Ivy and Ar Rum who were very welcoming, helpful, and professional.

The hot tub has been broken every time we have stayed there! Our room was good, the restaurant is great, but the kids sport teams on the weekends is annoying!

The hotel was lovely and it was nice having the restaurant just down the hall but the bedding (which is the main reason you get a hotel, to sleep) was not nice.

Staff were all really kind, the hotel itself is old but seems like they try to work with what they have. Bed was comfortable, towels and bedding seemed clean and it was quiet.

This Sandman location is a lowkey gem. I’ve stayed here a few separate times now and every time has been great.

If your planning your next holiday in alberta and having trouble to find a great place to stay with your family and kids look no further I recently stayed here with my family absolutely beautiful

Over all was a pleasant stay.
Wonderful beds n bedding.
No A/C in bedrooms… yuk. No window either. Just door.
Everything was clean.
How ever. The bbq doesn’t even give you a grill mark on your steak.

Had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The staff is exceptionally amazing and polite. A special shoutout to Tamanna who helped with checkin and checkout and was very accommodating of our needs.

I recently stayed at the Hampton Inn South Side Edmonton and had an excellent experience. The staff were welcoming and attentive, making check-in a breeze.

Overall, the hotel is not bad but old.

This is a very nice hotel. I have driven by it many times, and needed somewhere to stay on short notice, so I decided to give it a try. It is a beautiful facility!

We've stayed at this hotel multiple times while visiting family in Grimshaw. While it is an older hotel, it has always been very clean and the rooms are quiet and very comfortable.

We haved stayed here many times, including for use of the meeting rooms. The front desk staff are always friendly and helpful.

I found myself unexpectedly rerouted to Ponoka during a major snowstorm, and finding the Ramada turned out to be a blessing. What made the experience truly unforgettable was Shania.

Huge shout-out to Paige at the Ramada Ponoka. She was super friendly and really accommodating to our ringette team the whole time we were there.

Sandhu at the front desk gave warm and accommodating service. He truly made our experience memorable. The rooms were good but adding a few places to hang towels and washcloths would be appreciated.

I stayed for two nights on a business trip. I arrived at 1 a. M. Without a reservation and the front desk agent was kind and professional.

Rooms were nice — need a little updating on stairs and hall ways but room was really nice.
Lady working the front was too busy on her phone to be super helpful.

Very nice place, rooms clean and all staff are very friendly.

Recently stayed the night here. Our room was clean! The beds were comfy & the pillows were nice.

Perfect location, great prices, exceptional customer service!
Staff is always willing and wanting to help.

Conveniently located near the airport, making it ideal for both business and leisure travelers. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free. The location is great for watching planes and relaxing.

I had a very comfortable and pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean, spacious, and well maintained. The staff was very friendly, professional, and always ready to help.

Arrived at the hotel by midnight, the receptionist (kham) was very nice and helpful. The rooms were clean and tidy. Would come back again and would recommend it to my friends and family!

Clean rooms, secure parking spots and very nice staff. When I stayed here the first night, I was worried about my vehicle because I read in a earlier review that the parking lot was sketchy.

Nice room, friendly staff. Had a family trip 4 people, 2 queen beds.

We came for emergency surgery having no idea how long we would have to stay. The staff was great and worked to accommodate us when we had to stay longer than expected.
