Free parking in short distance. Cozy room, well designed, and comfy beds, nice shower.

Love this hostel. Super comfy, quiet, safe, great staff, big kitchen. I can't even tell you how many times I've stayed there at this point.

The hostel itself was great, super friendly staff and the main area, washrooms, and bedrooms were very clean and modern.

Great location to walk into town, or get the bus.
Rooms were spacious and very clean. There are lockers for suitcases and curtains around each bed. There is a toilet and shower in each room.

First time at a hostel, I was quite overwhelmed until I entered the building. Staff is friendly and very welcoming, the rooms are quite basic but very clean.

Nicest hostel ever. Staff are so nice and from all over the world — happy travelers on a stop. Shared showers were really clean. Room was clean, a bit dated. Views are amazing.

Stayed here for about two months, the staff is amazing and the events are great. Only thing is it’s 2026 we should have bunk beds with privacy curtains at the price this is lol.

Situated right on the Icefields Parkway between Jasper and Lake Louise, this a great location for exploring the area, going hiking, or even travelling between Banff and Jasper National Parks.

Perfect place for my needs. I was here to spend lots of time outside and hit lots of trails outside so I needed a safe space for my stuff during the day and a place to sleep.

I was an out of province student (no family around) and I had to get a knee surgery at the Banff Hospital.
The hostel manager was exceptionally helpful and accommodating.

Good people, beds and facilities were decent. Breakfast is nice but very basic, just bread butter, jam and juice/coffee. Located a bit off the center which isn't ideal. Stayed in late Aug.

The facilties at this hostel are great. It is unfortunate that all HI hostels do not have curtains. Breakfast was pretty good.

It was very great to stay at the Castle Mountain wilderness hostel. I was extremely happy that they had showers and all amenities you could wish for.

It was a phenomenal 4 day stay at the mosquito creek wilderness hostel. Clean and quiet dorm, well equipped kitchen, lots of storage room in the fridge.

The staff was absolutely fantastic, very personable and extremely helpful. The location is perfect as well great walking distance from everything in Canmore.

Beautiful and scenic location for a day trip. It was out of season, so very quiet.

This was my first time skiing at this mountain. Lots of runs to challenge most skiers. The day we went had fresh snow overnight, so great ski conditions.
