Kyoto SPA hotels

One of the best hotels ever! The rooms are cute and highly functional, the breakfast was pretty good. The one makes this place stand out more than anything, are the staff!

This was a nice hotel, but a little off the beaten path. The staff were very nice, and the hotel was clean and modern. The room was small, but good for the value.

I wanna say thank you to staffs in 東山莊. They’re very kind, hospitable, and thoughtful. The location is also good, very close to 二年板、清水寺，so you can take pictures here earlier than others!

I was at the restaurant here, was really good. Cant judge the Hotel itself, but the staff semmed great, attentive and super nice.

This hotel is set on an onsen and is in a beautiful, quiet location.
The villas are very comfortable and spacious but the best feature is the private onsen.

We stayed at the Sakura Village which is an annex to Centrale hotel in Kyotango in January 2024.

Great service, food amazing. The sukiyaki we got the second night was so good! The building is quite aged but they do their best with top notch hospitality, food and service.

My family and I had a great time. Perfect location. Staff are attentive and gracious. The meals were delicious. I used the bath house every day while here and was always the only person there.

Stayed here for 3 days. Amenities are on the first floor, along with the microwave and water. I didn’t have any problems with check-in (booked through Agoda).

We stayed for three nights here. I would consider this to be a Japanese style higher end hotel.

Absolutely delightful stay at this authentic, traditional Ryokan. Beautiful reception area, rooms just perfect. Staff so friendly and helpful. It was a treat to come back here every night!

We stayed for 3 nights in a traditional tatami room and absolutely loved the experience we shared. The staff are extremely respectful, the amenities offered were above and beyond.

Best stay of my Japan trip! Clean room, comfortable futon bed, the BEST Japanese breakfast in the room each morning, it was a dream to be hosted at Ryokan Yoshi Ima.

I stayed at Urban Hotel Kyoto Shijo Premium for two nights and had a really enjoyable experience.

Urban Hotel Kyoto Shijo Premium (2009) Centrally located hotel, often very busy, but everything is well organized. Breakfast buffet is well prepared with plenty of choices.

A brilliant location, just a short walk from the station, and the heart of Kyoto and Gion.
I particularly loved the Onsen here.

My husband and I had a great stay with our kids (13 and 9). The futons were very comfortable, I slept like a baby. The room temperature was adjustable, which I liked.

Enjoyed a nice stay at the Mercure. Good clean spacious room well maintained with good views! Nice friendly service and good breakfast available.

A very Japanese style hotel, staff are very friendly, Aldo English is a bit hard for them to understand, they will still do there best to find a solution suitable for you.

Super clean hotel with extremely friendly and accommodating staff! I appreciated how spacious the rooms were for a solo traveler like myself and enjoyed experiencing a traditional Japanese-style room.

First time traveling to Japan, we found out this place to practice traditional Japanese archery. Really kind people working in there and amazingly friendly people.

The location is great. Literally on the street with many stores, restaurants and activities.
The room is large, no huge. It has both a traditional living room with tatami and a modern living room.

Everything went really from the check-in to the checkout. Staff, breakfast and room were super nic.

We stayed for 3 days and it was an absolute plessure. Everybody is so friendly, polite and attentive. It is the best place to have an authentic ryokan experience. The breakfast was very delicous.

I showed up midday without a reservation and was greeted by an extremely polite hoast.

We stayed with a group of 20 students (on a Japan exchange trip). We had fabulous service and our rooms were perfect! Would stay again!
