We had a wonderful stay at Four Sisters 2-Bedroom Apartment in Kyoto and highly recommend it, especially for families or groups.

Every staff member at Junei was extremely attentive, always very willing to help, accommodating and polite. The facilities were immaculate. Breakfast was phenomenal.

This was a truly wonderful hotel. It is located in a quiet neighborhood but very convenient to subway lines that took us everywhere.

I stayed at the Four Seasons Kyoto Hotel again because I forgot my coat when I checked out last time.

So happy with the stay, two large double beds for a fantastic price. Quite sizeable as bathroom and bedroom have a joining little hall.

I stayed here, mid November for 6 nights. It was wonderful. Due to jetlag I had to check in a day late. I notified the hotel staff via email and they were very understanding and responsive.

Very well managed hotel with gorgeous views from the rooftop bar and complimentary coffee and ice cream at their reception desk.

Staying at this hotel in Kyoto felt like a perfect harmony of tradition and modern elegance.

My partner and I had an incredible stay at Nishiyama Ryokan.

Loved that I stayed here! From checkin to checkout… everything was smooth. Welcomed with tea and a hot towel and someone personally escorted me to my room and explained everything.

Our stay at Sumiya was the highlight of our trip. We were looking so forward to the private onsen in our room.

High Privacy location and layout for enjoying the holiday.
Private Japanese bath tub and excellent quality meals can surely make you take a good rest.

Incredible experience all around. Some of the best breakfasts we’ve had anywhere either beautiful presentation and attentive to our dietary restrictions.

If you are looking for a traditional ryokan stay, I cannot recommend Yuzuya more.

Our family of 4 had such a wonderful stay in Kyoto. We booked 2 rooms, and they were absolutely beautiful and very comfortable.

The hotel is surrounded by plenty of greenery and is located almost directly opposite a national museum.

I had a really lovely stay here, the place feels super peaceful and traditional.
It’s in the heart of Gion however it is very quiet and private. Perfect if you want.

Was a bit more basic than we thought. But all in all a good place and staff and and service was very good.

I wanted to visit Amanohashidate for the exceptional view and to visit the cultural sites like Motoise Kono shrine and other local attractions. I was looking for a central hotel with good service.

I like the rooms very much. We tried both rooms 1 traditional Japanese room with tatami and 1 modern Japanese room with beds. We really like the layout of the modern room.

The location was fantastic, and the aesthetic was high. The service was also very conscientious. However, the rooms were not very functional.

A very lovely Ryokan. The staff was very helpful to me. The rooms are spacious and I even had a direct view on the beach. I enjoyed the view from the balcony in my room.

We didn't stay at this beautiful ryokan, but the people who work here are kind and wonderful!

The facility is very new and had decent amenities. I'm glad they had washer and dryers. You can't beat the location. However, the room was small for the cost.

Rinn Kyoto Gion Shinbashi is a very well located hotel, with clean rooms and excellent facilities.

For the value, I would still stay here again now that I know how to handle the room/hotel issues.

The location is great as it’s in the heart of the traditional Kyoto, the Gion.

Ah, one of the best hostels in Gion because you will meet so many foreigners here & make friends at the dining table. The best part was the kitchen & shower area. Super clean.

I stayed at The Ryokan Hostel Gion in Kyoto and had a great experience. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the entire place — including the showers and bathrooms — was spotless.

We had 4 nights at this hotel and found it very comfortable. Great location within 5 minutes of the covered market streets and Nishiki market.

Well situated: near the famous market, great restaurants in the area and not far to a metro station to get to the shrines and temples on the eastern side of Kyoto.

As far as I understand, the place closed off for a while until the couple that runs it now took over. I'm so grateful to them.

We had a perfect stay, it was the jewel of our trip to Japan. We stayed 2 nights and booked the Kaiseke dinner for one of the nights, I would highly reccomend. Our best dining experience in Japan.
