Hostels in KyotoHostel

We got the twin room and it was great, comfy bed, spacious room and location close to trains, buses and convenience stores. It would be a bit cleaner but had a super happy stay! :)

Happy stay! Perfect stay during cherry blossom blooming! Quick walk to two different train stations so you can easily get around or you get even walk to the main attractions. There’s a kitchen to use.

A Little bit late to the party on the review front. We stayed with Shitatsu in April 2023 and it was a delightful 3 days.

Our host Shitatsu was absolutely key to the success of our stay in Kyoto! He was incredibly kind and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure we had a great time in the city.

I stayed there for 5 nights.
The hostel is located around an hour (by foot) from kyoto station.
The street was calm, quiet and dark at night perfect for sleeping.

If you are fed up with the monotonous hotels that are common in Japan, this is the place for you. If you are looking for excessive quality, I recommend staying at the Hilton Hotel.

Highly recommend! Everything about our stay was perfect. Staff is very very helpfull and kind, whatever we needed they kindly provided. There is even a cute garden and a spacious kitchen/dining area.

Just the location in front of the station is sufficient. The parking lot is gravel, so you have to keep your distance between cars, but it's located near the hostel.
