Matera Hotels

We stayed here June 2025. Giacomo is a wonderful host. The rooms are great. The location is right in the middle of the Sassi. So amazing! He also has an agreement for parking in the new area of town.

Giacomo immediately made us feel welcome and was available and willing to help with anything we needed.

B&B located in a strategic position, clean rooms and breakfast (carefully prepared by Mr. Giuseppe) with breathtaking views of Matera.
Thanks again see you soon!

Family-run B&B… everyone is very nice, friendly and available to give all the information they can. The terrace is very beautiful where, wind permitting, you can have breakfast overlooking the stones.

Brand new location, with huge rooms equipped with everything you need! Despite the scorching heat of recent days, the room was wonderful!

Just freaking gorgeous stay that far exceeded our expectations. The pictures are stunning, but it is way better in real life. Excellent service from extremely friendly and welcoming staff.

A unique experience and fantastic rooms, the owners have put in so much effort to make this a great place to stay, the attention to detail is appreciated.

I stayed one night in Matera for conference and Meteoron was the best options for me. The room was really nice and the staffs were really friendly and helpful.

Amazing stay! The hosts hospitality was the best in an Italy. All the staff are very friendly and happy to help. On arrival they suggested some sites and restaurants to visit.

Superb house, very large and very pleasant swimming pool.

We had a great stay with Vito, who was very thoughtful and attentive.
Very pleasant setting, 15 minutes from Matera.
The swimming pool and barbecue really make you feel on vacation.

Excellent price range. Well equipped and specious appartment with a comfortable bed and shower. Perfectly located.

Very kind and helpful owners. Mrs. Margherita gave us very useful advice and exhaustive directions for visiting Matera. Everything perfect. Excellent location and just outside the centre.

We stayed just one night.
The lady is very kind and welcomes in a really pleasant way.
The structure is recently built or renovated.
Excellent Wi-Fi air conditioning and cleanliness of the room.

We stayed here during our holiday in Italy with our three kids and had a wonderful experience.

Amazing place, original concept, and very personal service by Michele and Simone. Ideal for a family weekend and steps away from the panoramic view of Matera's historical district.

We came to Matera for days and I booked our accomodation on Spec!

L’Incanto Luxury Rooms are in a great location right in the centre of the old city.

Staying in this B&B was like being at home, the kindness and politeness distinguishes Mr. Antonio and his family.

Very good for visiting Matera, very friendly welcome, good breakfast. Very clean and private parking. 10 minutes from the heart of the city.

Nice welcome in a comfortable and clean apartment.
Convenient to the center, we left the car in front of the house and moved around on foot.

Really nice and well-kept apartment, helpfulness of the owner, breakfast needs to be improved which in our opinion is a bit poor (packaged snacks and some biscuits with various jams).

The two owners are truly fantastic and helpful people, always ready to give any type of information and directions both for food and for attractions to visit. Rich and varied breakfast.

The owners are really kind and very helpful. The location of the apartment is exceptional, you are practically in the rocks but you can get to the door with your car.

Very large apartment and stylistically in line with the homes of Matera, fantastic hydromassage tub for an hour of relaxation before going out into the centre, top welcome with welcome cake and no

Clean place, close to the stones, I'm very sorry not to have had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Margherita, I hope that next time we will have better luck… I definitely recommend it to everyone.

We had a wonderful stay at Lamia Room Rentals. The location is situated just a short walk from the historic center, making it the perfect base for exploring Matera on foot.

This was absolutely perfect for us overnight. The interior is so cleverly designed and it’s only a short walk to the amazing centre.

In February we did a Puglia/Matera tour but this b&b was definitely the best we found. Very nice and warm accommodation, abundant breakfast… not even soy milk was missing.

Excellently equipped and furnished structure just a few minutes walk from the Sassi and the center of Matera. Convenient paid covered parking (€10.00 ×24h) or free, 10 minutes walk away.

The location is perfect, there is parking and you can reach the Sassi and the historic center very quickly on foot.
Spotless rooms, check in easily agreed with the owners.

I spent a few days in Matera, with my family. We were welcomed by Vanna, the owner, who supported us throughout our stay. We will never stop thanking her and her wonderful family.

Maria was super nice and helpful. Just three rooms hotel bed and breakfast, all very clean and comfortable with shower and bathroom. Breakfast included in your stay.

Excellent B&B located at the entrance to the Sassi. The room was excellent and Mrs Maria was very kind. Highly recommended for a weekend in Matera.

Very nice structure, top room! Even my furry friend was welcomed well and had space to run around. Logistically 10, very close to Matera.

How beautiful Anna's house is! New, modern, clean, welcoming, well-kept environment. A few minutes' drive from Matera, it is located in the greenery of the first suburbs.

We stayed here for two nights.
The accommodation is in a remote part of the town. Very quiet, and parking can be be done right next the entrance.

Gorgeous room, strategic location, friendliness, cleanliness, super equipped… I was really satisfied 🥰
