Matera Hotels

For starters the welcoming staff was exceptional and our room had a splendid view and a private balcony to just chill and take in the view (this was our room selection) so in all our room was more

Room is very comfortable, with a beautiful view and a great location. The picture shared was taken from the room — You got a full panoramic view of Matera right inside of your room.

Comera is right in the center of the old part of the city. It is nestled amongst restaurants and souvenir shops. It is quiet even though close to Via Bruno Buozzi, a main street in Matera.

Stunning room with excellent quality furniture and finishes, impeccably clean. We had the room with a bath downstairs and bed upstairs with a roof terrace — one of the best places we stayed.

Alina is amazing! She really makes sure you are well taken care of! The room was top drawer in every way.

We stayed here for two nights. The room was fantastic, the communication including check in through to explanation of the history of the tower and Matera were outstanding.

This review is only concerns the restaurant.
Everything at Palazzo del Duca restaurant was wonderful. The ambience of the cave, the welcome from the staff (thank you Vito!

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at this beautiful cave hotel! We reserved two rooms, and one of them was above the reception area.

We went on New Year's Eve. Rented two triples and one double. Excellent location, in front of the castle and a stone's throw from the centre. Nice design, everything clean and tidy.

To describe it in one word… Magical! The view from the balcony and the beauty of hearing the sounds coming from the conservatory of music from across the street it’s to die for.

Fantastic room and ensuite with balcony overlooking the incompatible Sassi di Matera, one of the oldest human cities known. Fantastic host who was very helpful.

Amazing location, near the old town but also on the edge so we could park easily. Huge room, awesome shower and amazing staff who gave us great recommendations.

Super recommended, a few steps from the center, very nice, clean, tidy environment, with the possibility for us who were on motorbikes to park in front of the house!

We stayed at the B&B Pignatelli for one night. The B&B has an excellent location, you can reach the center and the Sassi of Matera in a few minutes on foot.

Excellent solution for visiting Matera, central location, free private parking, abundant and varied breakfast, clean rooms and low price.

The name of this B&B was recommended to us by my cousin, who stayed there one night in August with his family and had a very good time!

Perfect location for exploring Matera! The B&B is a jewel, with a unique and relaxing atmosphere. Special thanks to the owner for her availability and precious advice. "

A small but welcoming house. Equipped with all comforts: walk-in closet, luggage compartment, smartTV with different platforms, comfortable bed, shower with mood lights… in short, we had a great time.
