Absolutely incredible stay at Corte San Pietro! From the moment we arrived we fell in love, from the wonderful friendly, helpful service and staff. The cave room was unbelievable!

Beautiful hotel in the heart of stunning Matera. Our room was spacious and well appointed, albeit with a very strange bathroom door setup that took some adjusting too.

The Hilton Sant’Angelo SLH is out of this world. There is nowhere like it. Its location in the third oldest city in the world — Sasso Caveoso Matera — with its 10, 000 year old caves is spectacular.

Our stay at the San Giorgio Hotel was a unique cave experience in this very special town.

The experience was very nice. We just had a small problem with the hot water, which was immediately fixed on a Sunday.

This stay was our best stay in Europe from start to finish. Loved how they pick you up from a parking lot and drive you to and from the hotel.

Stayed at Basiliani Hotel in Matera and loved the experience! The room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed, blending the historic charm of the Sassi with modern comfort.

Location was perfect for the old town and the staff were brilliant. The spa was incredible, could have easily spent a whole day there, I can understand why they cap it to one hour per guest per stay.

The quality and the standard within the room is very high. From matress, towels, shower gel, luxury high quality brands. The room was very clean. You can walk into the old town by 15 min.

A beautifully restored noble house at the top of Matera. The walk to the breakfast room is worth the price of the room by itself! It goes through the main rooms of the old mansion.

This is a beautiful boutique hotel located perfectly to visit the sassi. The parking garage was very close. Everything was top notch & we felt very welcomed.

What an awesome place! Cave room experience in Matera but what struck me as exceptional was the staff. Room was very cool. We booked directly from hotel.

This was a unique, historic, and fantastic hotel! It is in a great location, not just in terms of getting around the city, but also since it is a short 2 min walk (up or down steps) to get a taxi.

We booked a double room for 120euros. It is an old hotel but it is perfectly renovated (refurbished). The rooms were perfectly clean.

Hotel del Campo was a good choice for us when visiting Matera. It is located a bit outside of the main old town, so you will need a car or transport to get into there.

I am writing this from the bed in our room. I would say this is probably one of the best hotels in Matera. The view from the rooftop terrace is spectacular. The spa is spectacular.

Fabulous luxury hotel. Terrific location. Room 210 has a large patio with a defensive turret in the corner, a private outdoor spa, and a fantastic view of the sassi.

We had a very pleasant stay, the hotel fulfilled our expectations. We reserved a room for persons with disabilities. It was well appointed, spacious and suitable to our needs.

We were very happy with our experience in Casa di Ele. A great location in the center. Close to parking. Wonderful views from the windows. Each room of the 17th century palazzo beautiful and unique.

My wife Sally and I stayed at La Casa di Ele for five days in October and are very glad we did. A family run b&b, it is a jewel in the heart of Matera.

Excellent hotel and superb service. The hosts are very helpful and will guide you on the places to visit. It's located in a very central place.

If you want a special place to stay in Matera look no further. We spent 4 nights here this last week. We had the 2 level suite with our own private pool and steam room.

Room is very comfortable, with a beautiful view and a great location. The picture shared was taken from the room — You got a full panoramic view of Matera right inside of your room.

Comera is right in the center of the old part of the city. It is nestled amongst restaurants and souvenir shops. It is quiet even though close to Via Bruno Buozzi, a main street in Matera.

Stunning room with excellent quality furniture and finishes, impeccably clean. We had the room with a bath downstairs and bed upstairs with a roof terrace — one of the best places we stayed.

Alina is amazing! She really makes sure you are well taken care of! The room was top drawer in every way.

We stayed here for two nights. The room was fantastic, the communication including check in through to explanation of the history of the tower and Matera were outstanding.
