Nice hotel, staff very very friendly and helpful! Applause for the guy bringing up all our luggage! The view is gorgeous and the hotel is perfectly located.

Room was fascinating. Location was great.

Comfortable, clean and spacious rooms and bathroom. The breakfast, however, is decidedly poor: it is limited to milk and fruit juice and a few packaged snacks. The location however is excellent.

Amazing place! From the very first moment of the invitation, the landlady gave us an amazing feeling and made sure that everything we wanted. The apartment is very spacious and perfectly equipped.

Our stay at La Gemma Dei Sassi was wonderful. The location was perfect for exploring the Sassi, making it very convenient for our visit.

I spent 3 nights at Casa Festa during my visit in Matera and I only had good things to say about this lovely cute guest house. I had a room facing the gorge and it was really quiet and enjoyable.

This is impossible. I cannot find something wrong. And the owner … how in the name of Jesus worked with custom made materials and stuff I cannot find in my country to make this room so cool.

This residence is ideally located just a few metres from the historic centre. Our room was very clean, comfortable and beautifully designed with separate toilet and experience shower.

There are no words to express the wonderful hospitality in a very elegant and at the same time fully functional structure.

A small but welcoming house. Equipped with all comforts: walk-in closet, luggage compartment, smartTV with different platforms, comfortable bed, shower with mood lights… in short, we had a great time.

The location is excellent with an underground garage 100m away. Direct access to the old town areas. Rooms are amazing with high stone vaulted ceilings, and superb shower rooms. Very comfortable bed.

Interno 45 is an excellent logistical solution for your stay in Matera. Located a few meters from the border of the ZTL and near a paid car park (€10 per day, covered but not guarded).

Everything perfect, super clean and sanitized room located very close to the center of Matera in the ZTL area, super quiet place, we were satisfied and will return.

I had a fabulous 5 night stay here at the end of October 2024. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was terrific and clean.

To find the Masseria Torre Spagnola, look for their sign on the north side of the SS7 to/from Taranto, some 500 metres east of the campsite.

I can't say enough about this hotel. Not only were the rooms exquisite, the location perfect and the breakfast superb, the service and care from the staff went way beyond any hotel I have ever stayed.

Stayed for one night. Rooms are renovated caves with museum-like lighting. Very friendly staff provided recommendations and breakfast full of surprises.

We booked a double room for 120euros. It is an old hotel but it is perfectly renovated (refurbished). The rooms were perfectly clean.

Hotel del Campo was a good choice for us when visiting Matera. It is located a bit outside of the main old town, so you will need a car or transport to get into there.

We stayed here two nights and it was fantastic. Beautiful room & bathroom. Spotless. Great bed, linens and fresh towels daily. Great towels & shower. Great Wi-Fi.

Absolute wonderful stay at Hotel Vittorio in Matera! The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the historic center and just steps away from the Sassi. So easy to explore the city.

We had an amazing stay at Lo Stemma Hotel. The staff was wonderful and Camilla was incredibly helpful and responsive when we emailed them.

My mom and I stayed at Lo Stemma this summer and had the best experience. Our room was beautiful, the location was outstanding and the view was absolutely spectacular.

We liked everything about Donna Gina. The check-in process was easy, there was parking at the location for our rental car, and the historic area was an easy walk.

First of all everyone should visit Matera once in their life. It is a special place in the world. If you go I highly recommend Vetera Matera as the hotel of choice. It was wonderful.
