Amazing venue with great cavern halls and great views of the local region.

Fantastic location, attention to detail, chef Giuseppe Zicari an exceptional director, competent, ready to meet every need; congratulations to the director of sala signor Giacomo for the availability

Clean and spacious rooms, soft and beautifully smelling towels, very very helpful lady in the reception, safe private parking space for the motorcycles.

We recently spent three nights here. Our room was absolutely incredible. Huge and very well equipped. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was pampering.

This is a lovely hotel. We had a room with a terrace with spectacular views.
The restaurant was shut, which was a surprise on arrival. So no bar etc to relax as well as no tea or coffee in the room.

Four apartments for family, friends and couples❤️ The owner Anna, makes you feel Matera is your second home! Always the best choice 💫

Beautiful apartment, comfortable and well organised, a stone's throw from the stones of Matera, excellent welcome and availability from Mrs Anna who immediately put us at ease, a friendly and

Our best Hotel experience in all of Italy. We have stayed in 20 top hotels and resorts over past few years including Ritz Reserves, Four Seasons and many $2000+/night villas/hotels.

An exceptional experience from beginning to end. The hotel is absolutely magnificent — time truly seems to stand still in this unique place.

High-quality B&B in the heart of the Sassi Caveoso, very close to everything. The owner was very kind and quick to respond to our questions via messages. The room was spacious and very clean.

Location is obviously excellent. Right in the Sassi Caveoso part of Matera, close to the canyon.

There are no words to express the wonderful hospitality in a very elegant and at the same time fully functional structure.
Thanks to our guest Mr. Francis.
We will come back for sure.

I stayed for two days 25 and 26 August with my family, the apartment is very clean and really beautiful. Equipped with everything and more. Rich breakfast. Free parking in front of the structure.

What a wonderful town and fantastic place to stay. Serena was so communicative on where to park our car, how to catch the bus to the old town and directions to the accommodation.

Fantastic location, with a beautiful terrace giving a wonderful view of Matera and the gorge. Spacious room — very well and imaginatively decorated.

We liked everything about Donna Gina. The check-in process was easy, there was parking at the location for our rental car, and the historic area was an easy walk.

B & b in a perfect location to visit Matera on foot. The apartment is spacious comfortable tastefully decorated, perfect cleanliness.

The location is excellent with an underground garage 100m away. Direct access to the old town areas. Rooms are amazing with high stone vaulted ceilings, and superb shower rooms. Very comfortable bed.

I spent 3 lovely nights here. What a gorgeous room I had. So very pretty.
Cleanliness was outstanding.

Great hotel a few minutes drive into the old town of Matera. Everything was new, beds super comfortable, clean white linens. Safe free parking.

Great hotel, not far from the historic centre with free parking. Good quality breakfast.

Michele nailed it with help getting our car parked in a convenient space right outside, gave us a brief and to the point intro to the town of Matera and then showed us to our newly renovated and

We had a 2 night stay at Il Palazzotto and really enjoyed it. The rooms are all in caves and some go a fair way into the rock which is a real experience. Having a bath in a cave really is something.

This hotel and the city are honestly unreal. Every single person on the staff we dealt with was outstanding, making the whole stay feel seamless.

What we liked:
Location, Location, Location… it is incredible to sleep in one of the "caves" of Matera withing the Sassi neighborhood.

We are Canadian travellers who stayed at the LaCorte Vetere during our recent visit to Southern Italy. Visiting Matera and staying at the La Corte Vetere was a highlight of our trip.

An exceptional stay with heartfelt hospitality.
We had a wonderful stay at L’Antica Conceria, and a big part of that was thanks to Martino.

We stayed 3 nights in this beautiful little cave hotel. It’s located on the edge of the old town, overlooking the gorge with a wonderful view. It’s only a short walk into town.

This hotel and staff working there are genuinely amazing!

This hotel is one of the most unique we have ever stayed at. The rooms are dug into the limestone that makes up most of Matera Old Town, but they are clean spacious, modern rooms.

Cozy new residence with all the comforts… 20 meters from the historic center… the owner signs.

Everything perfect as described! Environment with all the comforts, weekend spent with my wife and my 10 month old baby.

A beautifully restored noble house at the top of Matera. The walk to the breakfast room is worth the price of the room by itself! It goes through the main rooms of the old mansion.

Room in historical castle. Spacious room. Comfortable beds. Nice personal. Good parking. Tasty breakfast. Rooftop with nice view.

Personally, I am very difficult to assign 5 stars because it is a very subjective thing and there is always something I don't like… however, this structure fully suits my personal tastes and I assign

We were happy with our 2 night stay at this hotel. Close to a selection of restaurants, bars, and museums. Our deluxe room had its own little terrace with an amazing view of the Sassi area.

Great location. Several excellent restaurants in close proximity. Staff all very helpful and friendly. Rooms are very interesting caves in the limestone. We had air conditioning in our room.

I've just completed three nights at this wonderful hotel. It is in the very best location with spectacular views and amazing staff. Especially Fania on reception.
