Elegance, professionalism and kindness reign in this enchanted place… my husband and I spent 2 fabulous days including New Year's Eve dinner… excellent dishes cooked with innovation and care… and then a big thanks to the owners… Antonella you are a special woman… we'il meet again soon… thanks… forgot… The structure has its own history…

For the second time in this magnificent Masseria, this time fortunately not for business reasons but with the family. Stayed in the master suite. The top.

Beautiful location. Great service. Decent value for money. Discrete dishes not exactly up to par.

Very bad reception. They talk and don't listen. We had a problem blocking the highway (known to all over Italy) and we had to delay the arrival. They are redone to the "rules" and they immediately activated to send us an email that reiterated that we would have paid the room for the late arrival. We had asked to speak to the manager who instead did not show up in any of the 5 days of stay. We were there for pleasure but especially to organize a convention for a big multinational. Of course we gave up. If you go know that you do not make exceptions to the rules…
We didn't leave late, but at 17.30, except that until 21 we were stopped at the tollbooth of the A1 in Rome, where the traffic police also backed the trucks to make a reversal on the highway. At 21 when we could restart we called and gave explanations that on the other hand were also on-line to the seriousness of the fact. We do not need to make excuses, since we have paid everything without exception or say anything. There are facilities that would have understood and climbed the night, since there was no one that night. The event we did and if the manager wants to be sure can contact me.

Attending a wedding event in this very beautiful resort, we discovered a beautiful location in the typical countryside of this part of Italy. Very good food, both meat and seafood, and wines completed a delightful event all day long.

The highest level of professionalism. Local wonderful and welcoming. Non-trivial and extremely original. Warm and friendly atmosphere. The maitre is definitely experienced and able to conduct in a remarkable way. Knowledge of wines level and considerable skill in the combination of the same with the flow. The kitchen staff is of the highest order. Silent and never broken down. Working with raw materials, fresh, natural. The flavours are sharp and well defined… never be deleted or altered. Stay in a couple a few days before the weekend of the epiphany 2017. Hospitality fantastic, and the friendliness maximum. We found ourselves in the middle of the super snow storm of the beginning of the year, and only thanks to the support of the managers, we were able to leave. Rooms are brand new and equipped with every comfort. Highly recommended!

The Fortified Masseria San Francesco was born from the ruins of an ancient monastery, of which we can still appreciate the remains of The mill and the church; it is a beautiful luxury resort that ensures a unique and charming experience. The food and service are nothing short of superlatives. Here guests can enjoy every comfort and the staff is always helpful and attentive. Family Suite spacious, with a private terrace, interiors and views of the beautiful lagoon pool, the suites are located in the historical part have a Turkish bath room and shower with chromotherapy; each room is equipped with satellite TV, a minibar and air-conditioning system. The stay in this fantastic location will be an unforgettable experience. In addition, the characteristic of the underground room can make a frame to your events, such as christenings, weddings, birthdays, etc. In conclusion. The vote total. TEN! try it to believe it! ;)

Charming Location, in a city among the most fascinating in the world. We had lunch in an underground room dating back to the 1600's very exclusive. Enough of the food!

I was wrong to click I was never there.

Beautiful farmhouse renovated and part new 3 km outside Matera. The swimming pool also suitable for children, nice restaurant is rooms, very comfortable both in the renovated section in the new part. Breakfast is abundant and varied. Staff were very helpful.

It was just a perfect experience. The place is so classy, well kept, peaceful, clean, and many more. I started off my day with a vast selection at breakfast, personally enjoying their variety of different fruit mostly.
Moving on to the pool and common areas, Relaxing is an understatement with that fantastic view and location. The staff and service was beyond great ready to fulfill any of our needs be it for excursions or site seeing or anything hotel related. They speak many languages and greet guests so pleasantly that overall this experience was just better than I could have ever expected! Matera is truly a gem to be visited in the South of Italy and worth every minute!
