SPA Hotels in Matera

Staying at this beautiful luxury cave hotel in Matera was a dream come true. Cave 17 was romantic, authentic yet with modern amenities. We had a comfortable stay.

This is one of the most memorable places I have ever stayed. They have maintained the feeling of the caves, and it is incredibly charming. We had room 26, which was very large.

The quality and the standard within the room is very high. From matress, towels, shower gel, luxury high quality brands. The room was very clean. You can walk into the old town by 15 min.

Wow. We thank the staff for the truly great experience we had during our one night stay in Matera.

An unforgettable and one-of-a-kind experience that we feel lucky to have found.

Wow! What an experience! How fun and different and…you just have to come to experience it. It was so fun. The “pool”, which was in the basement basically, is my nothing short of dreamy.

Vetera Matera is far more than a beautiful hotel — it is an exceptional destination and a truly unforgettable experience in the heart of one of Italy’s most extraordinary places.

Comfort, staff professionalism and location next to the duomo in this gorgeous city all excellent.

Absolutely yes all okay and the owner is very good and Buffy system I like.

I had to vacate my modern cave hotel due to its malfunctioning air conditioning. Shout out to Cynthzia for always going above and beyond to enhance the experience even further.

Honestly can’t recommend this hotel enough — beautiful spacious clean rooms, lovely private spa (needs booking but never had an issue getting a slot) and the breakfast was great (mix of standard

This is impossible. I cannot find something wrong. And the owner … how in the name of Jesus worked with custom made materials and stuff I cannot find in my country to make this room so cool.

A delightful hotel in the heart of the Sassi. Spacious and comfortable rooms with a/c and great views of the national park and caves. Everything was within walking distance.
