Endea Suite Rooms & Lounge SPA

This is a truly wonderful place in the Sasso Barisano area of Matera, within convenient walking distance to all attractions in this remsrkable and unmissable city. I had a charming and spacious room with a small terrace and great view. Breakfast was excellent, fruit, various pastries, cereal and bruschette, cheese and salami. Excellent service from Andrea and the team. A steal at €125 per night. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay at Endea Suite rooms. The property is very nice, clean & well located in the old town of Matera. The breakfast was amazing. The staff went out of their way to assist us. Corrine was so helpful and a delight to have serving our breakfast. Andre was there to meet us and helped organise taxi pick up and provided all the information we needed to enjoy our stay in Matera. We highly recommend Endea.

Beautifully renovated room right in the heart of Matera historic site (Sasso Barisano). Breakfast included. Staff Ms Corrine has been very warm and helpful. Great restaurants and breathtaking views. We look forward to returning to Matera!

My husband and I stayed here for one night during our honeymoon and it was the perfect place to land. The hotel is tucked away inside the city which was an exciting experience for us. The hotel communicated directly and easily with us to ensure we found our way there without getting lost through the old city streets. We also booked the spa for 90 minutes and it was the perfect recharge in the middle of a busy honeymoon. On top of all that, breakfast the next morning was a true delight and the owner recommended a perfect spot to view the city on our way out. We loved our stay so much, the only thing we regretted is not staying two nights at this beautiful hotel in this interesting city. Thank you Endea!

The rooms are absolutely clean and incredibly charming, especially the bathroom. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the exceptional service and warm hospitality from the host. The lovely lady who assisted us during breakfast made us feel right at home. I recommend Endea to anyone who planning a stay in Matera. Trust me, everything here is beyond amazing. Although we only spent one long night at Endea we truly enjoyed their hospitality! Upon arrival the host/patron Andrea welcomed us took considerable time to explain to us the must sees in Matera as well as where to eat truly traditional food!
Our room with a great view was of new design, so clean that it was almost sterile! Even the bed was so comfortable that I needed a second wake-up alarm!
Reaching the place was bit challenging due to the traffic restrictions in the historic area but with guidance from Andrea we got guidance to a parking garage and got shuttle service at a minimal fee of EU 10.00 per trip!
Having spent only one night in Matera I recommend you stay for two days…so much to see…and so little time…

We stayed for two nights at the Endea and we enjoyed every bit of it. The hotel has very new instalations. Our room was spacious, the bed was very confortable, roomy bathroom with very good shower. Breakfast included was very nice and the staff managed by the owner, Andrea, was extremely nice and helpful. We loved our stay at the Endea.

Endea Suites was a gem of a find. It is located in the middle of Matera and is a 4-minute walk to several restaurants or wine bars.
For me, there were a couple of things that made this hotel a remarkable experience. The staff was very attentive and kind. The lady who does the breakfast table in the morning goes out of her way to make sure you have all the food you need.
The second thing was how quiet the room was. Some areas of Matera can be a little festive, but my room was so quiet. I had some great nights of sleep here.

Cannot say enough positive about the hotel and service and care provided. Such warm hearted people. The room was lovely, very modern with a great view and air con. The location is right by everything, but like most of Matera make sure you wear good shoes and bring luggage you can carry. We parked at the Sant'Isidoro parking lot which I would recommend and is just under a 10 minute walk. Also, this is probably the best hotel we have stayed at for providing great restaurant recommendations. Thanks and look forward to being back!

This property deserves a million stars! Absolutely magical! Beautiful room in the typical rock caves of Matera, elegant, quiet, and incredibly comfortable! And dare I talk about the spectacular view? I more than HIGHLY recommend it! A must if you stay in Matera!
Also: the owner Andrea is THE BEST! We couldn’t have asked for a better host — he made our stay perfectly remarkable! He picked us up from the parking garage and also drove our suitcases back there for us when we left. Gave us a little tour of the old town. Went out of his way to make dinner reservation for us. And presented us with the tastiest breakfast delivered straight to our room!

Where to stay in Matera on holiday? Of course, at Endea Suite Rooms… professionality… cordiality. Location … not to mention Andrea and his staff who know how to do their job in an excellent way! For me five ⭐️
