The experience was very nice. We just had a small problem with the hot water, which was immediately fixed on a Sunday.

I had a fabulous 5 night stay here at the end of October 2024. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was terrific and clean.

Location was perfect for the old town and the staff were brilliant. The spa was incredible, could have easily spent a whole day there, I can understand why they cap it to one hour per guest per stay.

This was a unique, historic, and fantastic hotel! It is in a great location, not just in terms of getting around the city, but also since it is a short 2 min walk (up or down steps) to get a taxi.

I am writing this from the bed in our room. I would say this is probably one of the best hotels in Matera. The view from the rooftop terrace is spectacular. The spa is spectacular.

Il Belvedere is, by itself, a reason to revisit the stunning city of Matera. It is located in a breathtaking and easily accessible spot within the dreamy Old Town.

We were very happy with our experience in Casa di Ele. A great location in the center. Close to parking. Wonderful views from the windows. Each room of the 17th century palazzo beautiful and unique.

My wife Sally and I stayed at La Casa di Ele for five days in October and are very glad we did. A family run b&b, it is a jewel in the heart of Matera.
