Absolutely incredible stay at Corte San Pietro! From the moment we arrived we fell in love, from the wonderful friendly, helpful service and staff. The cave room was unbelievable!

We spent 2 nights here and were blown away by this incredible hotel!

I arrived two weeks ago at the hotel and since the beginning the attention and the care from the hotel staff was perfect. They are really professional and dedicated people!

Wow! What an experience! How fun and different and…you just have to come to experience it. It was so fun. The “pool”, which was in the basement basically, is my nothing short of dreamy.

The quality and the standard within the room is very high. From matress, towels, shower gel, luxury high quality brands. The room was very clean. You can walk into the old town by 15 min.

Wow. We thank the staff for the truly great experience we had during our one night stay in Matera.

I am writing this from the bed in our room. I would say this is probably one of the best hotels in Matera. The view from the rooftop terrace is spectacular. The spa is spectacular.

Fabulous luxury hotel. Terrific location. Room 210 has a large patio with a defensive turret in the corner, a private outdoor spa, and a fantastic view of the sassi.

Excellent hotel and superb service. The hosts are very helpful and will guide you on the places to visit. It's located in a very central place.

If you want a special place to stay in Matera look no further. We spent 4 nights here this last week. We had the 2 level suite with our own private pool and steam room.

A top-class hotel in a perfect location in Matera, just a 5-minute walk from the Sassi.
The staff (reception, breakfast service, housekeeping) are very friendly and attentive.

We recently spent three nights here. Our room was absolutely incredible. Huge and very well equipped. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was pampering.

This is a lovely hotel. We had a room with a terrace with spectacular views.
The restaurant was shut, which was a surprise on arrival. So no bar etc to relax as well as no tea or coffee in the room.

We booked a double room for 120euros. It is an old hotel but it is perfectly renovated (refurbished). The rooms were perfectly clean.

Hotel del Campo was a good choice for us when visiting Matera. It is located a bit outside of the main old town, so you will need a car or transport to get into there.

Well located B&B just a few minutes from the center of Matera, reachable in about 9 minutes.

Randomly directed towards this structure very close to Matera but very convenient for traveling to the city without taking your own car.

I stayed in the lovely Room The house has been beautifully renovated. The hotel is perfectly located right beside the Via Fiorentini and they even suggested a convenient interior parking for my car.

We stayed 2 nights at this wonderful place and we can absolutely recommend staying there. Small but perfect breakfast also included. We loved steying there!

In February we did a Puglia/Matera tour but this b&b was definitely the best we found. Very nice and warm accommodation, abundant breakfast… not even soy milk was missing.

I had a fabulous 5 night stay here at the end of October 2024. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was terrific and clean.

To find the Masseria Torre Spagnola, look for their sign on the north side of the SS7 to/from Taranto, some 500 metres east of the campsite.

Stayed in the family room, two levels, bedroom at top bathroom and sitting area below. Staff very friendly and helpful, good breakfast be had, you preorder when you arrive.

It is a cozy room build inside a cave and in the historic Unesco part of Matera. They have 5 different suites. A couple of the suites have jacuzzi. All unique in its own design.

We stayed here for two nights.
The accommodation is in a remote part of the town. Very quiet, and parking can be be done right next the entrance.

A lovely hotel in a pleasant location only 10 minutes walk from the centre. Very helpful & knowledgeable staff; efficient front desk. Cool bedroom with a high ceiling. Hotel has its own car park.

What a hidden gem! When we first drove up to Masseria Santa Lucia, we thought the map had to be wrong, an industrial area seemed like an unlikely setting for a masseria.
