The Hotel is fantastic to say the least: convenient to access any site, wonderful rooms (as well as spotless) and a terrace with unique view. Last but not for importance, staff polite and friendly, always helpful and smiling.

Beautiful place, amazing views, the Cathedral built between 1230 and 1270 is spectacular, Matera is a mix of ancient and modern, at sunset the city transforms into a giant Nativity scene. It's beautiful this city.

It was a thrill to find myself on the split of the Gravina, Matera there before. If you go to Matera can not miss that view.

Way above most places in Italy I have travelled over the last 25 years for the cost of the room. No deposit this tells me they respect and trust the client. The hotel will email you one day before arrival very professional to confirm things all good to go. Speaks great English. Every thing is clean and nice. Very modern rooms in a great location 2 km outside the city centre. Great web site so easy to use, one of the best I have ever seen in Italy. Every Italian hotel owner should come and stay here they might learn a few tricks Please keep in mind other hotel owners, high ratings take a lot of work. II Belvedere earns 5 stars ***** cheers!

Beautiful hotel on the stones of Matera. I was assigned a room in a cave near a terrace with a beautiful view of sasso caveoso. Highly recommended.

Bellissima la terrazza panoramica. Personale gentile e disponibile. Camere pulite e spaziose e dotate di molti confort. Ci tornerò se dovessi ritornare a Matera.

I was with family in this charming panoramic views on the stones really breathtaking, stunning and super clean, super, awesome breakfast: definitely!

Stay at this establishment was three times: for views that can be enjoyed from the terrace of the breakfasts, the same breakfast, rich and varied, for the kindness and preparaione of staff. Our room, built partly in a cave was simple and well appointed, with all the comforts, including Wi-Fi. Of course, it is to be considered a little damp, but the presence of the dehumidifier will minimize. The lack of private parking of the hotel can make it a bit difficult to find parking for those arriving by car, but it's not impossible to find in front of it, as it happened to us.

I stayed in a single room "room of monaco". Sleeping in a cave and an unforgettable event. The room cozy and very clean
top staff, friendly and helpful.

I'm coming back for sure.
