Had an amazing stay at this superb hotel. The hotel was an old monastery and has been renovated to a very high standard. 1st class staff and brilliant location right in the heart of Montera history. Linda & cara.

A weekend to celebrate our anniversary. We lived a dream in the beautiful Matera.
In Suite 1007 We felt two newers on a honeymoon, wonderful and romantic.
Excellent service, availability, cleanliness and friendliness of the staff, not to mention the exquisite breakfasts that are served every morning.
We will definitely recommend it!

A beautiful hotel with super-friendly staff. We felt very comfortable and welcome here. Our room was located on two levels, connected by a narrow staircase. We thought that was quite unusual but very cool. There are also rooms that are arranged only on one level. If I were over 70 and/or physically impaired, I might be trending towards such a room. But to spend the night in a former church definitely has something. We felt that breakfast was good. Quite Italian with lots of sweet but also savoury stuff. The coffee in Italy does not need to be highlighted in a positive way, it is simply the best coffee in the world.
