Our stay at La Gemma Dei Sassi was wonderful. The location was perfect for exploring the Sassi, making it very convenient for our visit. It was easy to park in front of the apartment, and parking was free of charge. The place was clean, and the service was friendly and welcoming. Mr. Nicola was especially helpful—he guided us on where to start our tour since we arrived at night, and gave great advice on what to do both during the day and in the evening. He even provided us with a map and showed us a beautiful viewpoint nearby. We highly recommend La Gemma Dei Sassi for anyone visiting the area! 👌

Highly recommended for a very good value B&B in Matera. The architecture and the features of the room were very nice. Our host was very generous and prepared a good complete breakfast. The location is just next to the old town with the facilities of the more modern town availabled too.
