Matera Hotels

Very central position. Comfortable room, effective air conditioning. Good shower. Good Wi-Fi throughout. Helpful staff. Good choice at breakfast (particularly if you like pastries!

Great hotel in a very convenient location with on site parking.

Hotel is well located a short walking distance from the sassi as well as downtown. Rooms are comfortable although the bathroom is small and tightly packed.

Had to leave Scilla at 2am and drove to Matera arriving around 7:15am.

Great stay right on the outskirts of the historic centre. We got a discount for the restaurant located right below the apartment (no noise issues) and a parking space some 500m away was provided.

We stayed at this property in July… what can I say, fantastic! Courtesy, kindness, cleanliness! we had a great time. Very close to the center (5 minutes by car) excellent breakfast!

Excellent breakfast, beautiful and spacious room, very kind and good owner. Center reachable in a short time.

Stunning hotel in a beautiful location. As soon as we pulled up on the driveway, everything was lovely.

Our unforgettable visit to the masseria with my friends ❤️
A beautiful environment, Italian cuisine, and everything was very delicious and natural.
Very good service.

Stayed in this fascinating hotel in Matera for 3 nights. Our room was in one of the old cisterns carved out of the limestone.

It was quite an experience staying in a cave hotel! It's not easy to retrofit facilities in a cave so don't expect luxurious bathrooms or decor.

Sleeping in one of their rooms is truly an amazing experience. Their interior garden is intimate and offers some shade, they offer fluffy towels & slippers + anything you could need for the bathroom.

This was my second visit to Le Dodici Luna and we thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality of the staff and the lovely, spacious room. I highly recommend this hotel if you visit Matera.

Great B&B in Matera, spacious rooms in a cave. Great location in the Sassi.
Nice breakfast, helpful staff.

Great hotel with a nice breakfast in the heart of Matera Sassi. Staff was excellent, especially Domenico. Very cool to eat and sleep in a cave.

The bed and breakfast is very close to the center and the Sassi of Matera. The lady is very helpful, the rooms are well furnished and the breakfast is satisfying. Advised.

Excellent location and welcome from the friendly and kind owner who makes up for the absence of a lift. Tip: bring light hand luggage!

The apartment is in the heart of the Sassi, excellent location. A beautiful large apartment with everything, nothing is missing, very clean with attention to the smallest details. Mrs.

Apartment with living room/kitchen, two bedrooms, bathroom in the historic center, excellent price, clean, one word perfect Thanks to the owner for giving them the opportunity to live.

Special place! A stone's throw from the center with a beautiful view and impeccable cleanliness. Above all, however, the people we met were special.

We stayed in the Sant' Eustachio Room with our child for just one night…
Unfortunately!
Unique experience.
Central location.
Free parking practically in front of the property.

Tenuta Danesi is a large old farmhouse complex set in the middle of huge cornfields which has been rebuilt by a modernist architect who has changed it beyond recognition into a very impressive small

My husband and I stayed in the Bubble Room at Tenuta Danesi, and it was truly one of the most incredible experiences we’ve ever had.

Wonderful 3-room cave hotel that I highly recommend!
Domenica took wonderful care of us, arranged a tour and airport transportation and gave us several restaurant recommendations… she was wonderful!

Wonderful cave hotel was truly a magical experience! From the US and Domenica was wonderful — she helped arrange airport transportation, a tour, and gave us restaurant recommendations!

Wow spectaculars, view is amazing as we sat on our balcony. Highly recommend the Earth (Terra) room. Nice continental breakfast on the patio. Friendly and helpful staff.

Wonderful cave like atmosphere with all modern comforts Spacious room and bathroom. Both were absolutely spotless.

A delightful hotel in the heart of the Sassi. Spacious and comfortable rooms with a/c and great views of the national park and caves. Everything was within walking distance.

This may have been my favorite stay in Italy! The room was great, so fun staying in a cave but it was also clean, comfortable, spacious and great shower pressure.

This place deserves more than 5 stars, we had a wonderful time at Luca & Giovanna’s!

We stayed two days in this wonderful structure, central and wonderful location with a breathtaking view to admire the panoramic beauty of the Sassi.

An amazing place, in the perfect location to explore Matera. Incredible views and a fantastic breakfast with fresh local products.

Fantastic location. Host is very friendly and easy to communicate with. The room was great and with a beautiful view of the city. Breakfast was something incredible with local baked goods.

Wonderful hosts and amazing homemade breakfast. Beautiful scenery with a relaxing pool. Very easy to get to Matera City.

I'll start by thanking the owners for their availability, courtesy and affability in welcoming us and advising us on things to visit, as well as sharing interesting anecdotes and information.

We can only hope to return soon, very beautiful and welcoming rooms, the shuttle service is excellent as is the cleanliness and the location in the center is logistically favourable.

The nicest room ever. Looks like a 5-star hotel for the price of an Airbnb. Very spacious, modern, new, clean. And on top of this the host is very nice and gave us lots of recommendation for Matera.

Fully worth its perfect review score! This B&B has just one guest room, hence the name that sounds like 'for you'.
This means there is no noise from other guests, and lots of space!
