Great for cleanliness and friendliness.

It is not a four star hotel. It is at most three.
The bathroom has the broken tablet and the shower is crap for operation.
The lady at the front desk is incompetent and unaccustomed to customers. The two elevators were blocked by cleaners for ten minutes.
In conclusion, avoid if you can.

Hotel located in a strategic position is in an appropriate state of cleanliness and the staff is helpful and kind a special thanks to Simone and Margherita we will definitely return to this city and from you.

Located in the central area of National Street a 10-minute walk from the city center of the stone strategic location one of the most historic hotels in the city although fully put back in recent years.

Great… very nice staff… a delicate scent welcomes you from the entrance. Great breakfast with homemade cakes. Spacious… great value for money.

I start by writing about the perfect cleanliness of the rooms… really commendable! The hotel is located quite close to the center and has a guarded parking lot covered (for a fee) which make it palatable to those who want to stay in Matera. The only negative notes: the bathroom (from the small shower to the sparse and dated furnishings), the breakfast (a little sparse and qualitatively poor) and the TV (perhaps it came to 19 inches? ). For the rest I recommend it!

I spent two pleasant nights in this hotel. Clean, equipped with Wi-Fi (which I did not use) and with a helpful staff, very friendly and very quick. When we arrived the elevator broke down (it stuck with us inside), but in less than 24h it was working again, despite it being Saturday. Recommended.

Can’t say enough about the town of Matera, it’s beautiful, clean and the history is amazing! Our Hotel the Nazionale was fantastic! Just a short 15 minute walk to the centre square and the Sassi village. The Nazionale is new, modern and the staff are great. Ferdinando and Simone were our waiters for breakfast and dinner. The 2 young men were great to talk with, excellent ambassadors for the hotel! Both the town and the hotel are hidden Gems! Well done.

The best way to feel the principles is to come to this hotel. Everything organized in the smallest detail. The beauty and elegance even become secondary to the pleasure of staying in this hotel.

Located on the main road away from the center but the walk to get there is nice N as plenty of shops.

3 Star Hotel but it deserves 4… very well cared for and very helpful and professional staff!

Rooms clean friendly staff but at the time of the account a problem parking is €5 per night on Google is reported as free for the rest all good.

Renovated from a few years, a conference room cozy, location not too far from the center.

Hotel with new furnishings, very clean and personal friendliest, I put 3 stars because the kitchen was disappointing, we were a group of 36 people and we had to choose a first and a second and a contour for all equal without another option one week before, the food was good however the portions were scarce, starving. What we did not like was just the lack of availability in the choice of dishes and the coldness that accompanied us in the evening at dinner.

I was in this structure 7 years ago for work, today as then, it is always a pleasure to visit you. Rooms always well furnished and clean, staff always at the top for professionalism and courtesy.

Modern Hotel, in a quiet street a bit on the outskirts, but at 15 mn. Walking distance from the center of Matera. Large common areas with outdoor seating. Modern and spacious room with adequate bathroom. Good also the restaurant with young and prepared staff. Recommended.

Structurally very nice and modern Hotel, with tastefully decorated and functional rooms.
The dinner that they served for the group, is nothing short of shameful with a scandalous proposal. I give you some tourist games, it makes the place unqualified. I recommend that you refrain from eating in this place.

I went there with a group, what a great: service, typical southern gentility beverege, all beautiful, spacious, modern, super clean, 15 minute walk downtown. Really very good. Director Mr. Alessio. From the driver. Private bus parking.
