Fantastic resort, My favorite in Koh Kood, want to come back in January!

We had a wonderful stay in Ngamkho. Days were heaven living by the sea in this peaceful and friendly atmosphere! The beach is amazingly beautiful, the bungalow is just what we needed, and we felt like home in the Café — Restaurant on the beach: a cool vibe, lovely family and staff and a delicious fresh food everyday from breakfast to dinner! We couldn’t dream of a better place! We will definitely come back!

Outstanding service, delicious food, spectacular views, beautiful and clean beach, great for swimming and snorkeling and comfortable room. We returned home with wonderful memories.

I really loved this place. Like many have said it's very peaceful with a nice little beach. The view and the water are amazing, the restaraunt overlooks the beach and makes for a lovely sight during meals. As for the food, breakfast is pretty standard fare, but the lunch/dinner foods are delicious. Overall the place is a great value for what you get, except motorcycle rentals are a bit more expensive than elsewhere. It rained the second day that we stayed here and unfortunately our cottage had a leaky roof, but we were able to change rooms with very little hassle, and I'm pretty sure the old room has already been fixed. I couldn't review Koh Kood Resort without mentioned the staff. The service was excellent. We always felt tended to, and the were always polite and helpful. I highly recommend this resort, and if I have the chance I will be back.

I love this place. Located on the best beach on Koh Kood imo. Has the great beach bar, friendly staffs. And has tons of activities to do. One thing that disappointed me is the hotel breakfast, which is not good and the worst thing is not enough for guests.

Well, come in the years. Room clean and OK. Foreign tourists are no longer target group No. 1. Unfortunately the service is no longer the same as the price.

Location is prime, beautiful and quiet beach, nice surroundings. Facilities could use some upkeep and maintenance, the age is showing. Staff is not friendly, breakfast substandard to what you would expect.

A dream, who needs the Maldives.

One of the best resorts in Koh Kood. Amaizing cocktails and food. They have made a bridge that goes inside the sea and put light so you can enjoy the clear water and the fish even at night :)

Best place ever! I love this place, the very lovely family (especially Jobby), very good and fresh food and nice bungalows. I will come back to this lovely place. Thank you for all. ;-)

The paradise, beautiful beaches, waterfalls, National park, not yet too much concrete and hotels for now I have well dug.

Very quiet Resort with pool and well located. Nice little bungalow all wooden but poorly organized inside. Small, no storage and no mirror in the small bathroom to shave or comb. A single mirror in the rooms almost to the ground so you have to sit on the floor because no chair to see each other! Expensive for what is proposed. Restaurant abec little choice and expensive. No booze, no wine except beers, no espresso, no dessert. Lovation of motorcycles 400 b/day at Négovier car 300 b elsewhere.

Everything good, rooms and staff, except breakfast, we paid a lot and it wasn’t worth it.

We stayed in this hotel for two days. This year the bungalows already require renovation and the hotel grounds also require landscaping. All the flaws overlap the magnificent bay with stunning water and sand.

Probably very well a few years ago, the bungalows have really aged. They are spacious and well equipped, the bathroom rather pretty, but the water pressure really insufficient. Smell of unpleasant moisture in the room. Wood from the terrace very spoiled, not to say rotten. Poorly maintained garden shame. No pool. Beach Armchair permanently squatted. Relatively good Restaurant, decent breakfast (buffet). At 3200 Baht The room was better than that. The positive attitude of the staff catches up all: they really helped us find a resort for the next night so they were full, and accompanied there. Finally we will say: Suitable for troubleshooting!

Location is great and views fantastic. The deck bar is good but unfortunately this is where the good stuff ends. The major problem with this place is the staff. I have never stayed anywhere in the world with such poor service and sometimes rude. The staff will not greet you or even say thank you for staying unless they are expecting a tip. The guy who works the reception in the mornings cannot speak a single word of English even though 90% of the guests he deals with are foreigners. The bills that should be signed off every night are constantly wrong with many added items. (i guess this is an honest mistake, but again comes down to the service). There is no organization at all. The staff seem free to roam around doing whatever they want be it eating with in views or customers or just watching there phones. The one day we had ok service was when the owner was there and he instructed them on everything that should be done. The next day when the owner was gone poor service resumes. This place needs a complete staff overhaul. Price for rooms is reasonable though they are a bit dated.

Good resort overall, the island is lovely and this property fits in well in the context. Quite isolated you enjoy peace and quiet. By slightly better rooms, but since everything is built stealing space from the forest you can't complain. The prices for meals are slightly higher than the mainland, but being an island the because you understand it alone.

We lived in the superior garden view cottage number B2 for 2 nights. Afterwards we changed to sunshine resort which was much better and even cheaper. Generally it is is a shabby rundown resort — strong smell of urine in the room — the room and overall the resort was pretty damaged, seemed like nobody was taking care of it for years. — no direct beach, just a deck built above the rocks. + on the right side of the beach there still some living corals and many fishes, we even saw 3 octopuses. Good for snorkelling Tip: to the left of the hotel there is Natural Beach Resort which offers great food and massage. It is only like 50 m walking on the beach. We had there the best food and massage of our whole Thailand trip.

Staff mostly striving to communicate difficult, room ok, price performance is wrong.

Wonderful place, with full occupancy of the hotel still there is a sense of privacy, the bay and the beach above all praise, were on the neighboring beaches, our best. The breakfasts are varied, for every taste
The bungalow is quite comfortable.
It is necessary to take with itself means from mosquitoes, in the evening there are many. We were rescued by a spiral and a spray.

Lovely cosy place to relax. Nice, clean, small, affordable huts. Fantastic food. Lovely family running Business. The dogs are also Cute and relaxed. Best place to be on the "more getting busy" island.

An aging resort that is no longer worth its rather high price compared to other resorts in the Koh Chang Archipelago. The restaurant is good, the food tasty and also, if desired, genuine Thai. The location, without any significant beach, in the Bay is beautiful. Unfortunately, there is no reasonably comfortable way to leave the complex and visit the nearby sandy beach and therefore other restaurants. This seems to be right for management, so the higher prices can be demanded from the "caged" guests. Also, that you can only settle your bill by credit card (+ 2%of course) although the deposit still ran via pay-pal I find funny.
The staff was always very friendly and helpful, eating as mentioned well and the facilities clean. The bottom line is mecker at a high level, the management should be a high level. The suggestions, however, rethink.

Old houses. That Conder does not work that the water hot is not.
But… Big Plus is the green area and the bay. Every day the tide and the tide and the water goes 50 meters!
Afternoon water near the shore is dirty. I put a photo under water. And the hotel has an employee that all day walks with a net and cleans the sea.
You can ride on the board and kayak, snorkeling.
If you are for the first time on the Kui and can not choose a hotel then do not hesitate-you will like it here!

Overall a great experience. Excellent food and service. We just spent 4 nights and it's an amazing bang for your buck. Really having a hard time believing the critical opinions I saw… Deff recommended.

Great for what it is — excellent location, better than decent accommodation, great beach atmosohere — for $35 per night on the cheap end — you'll be hard pressed to find a better price fokr what you get here. Perhaps one of the best beaches, bays in Koh Kood. Great deck, great drinks, decent food. Nice cute tropical set up. Love the music they played, was electronic or jazz — in all instances surprisingly good selections. Note felt like more of a home stay than a 100% professional resort — I say that because it was a bit weird to have the same guy who showed us our room, also be a server, and give me a massage. I would go back — great bang for your buck, great location.

The rooms are a bit shabby. But overall very good, wonderful cove, coral reef and clean water.

Lovely views, lovely people, great food and great attitude. Too bad the acces to the sea is not the easiest one, yet the water is just lovely and all the rest compensate!

Great location in a quiet lagoon, beautiful small beach, perfect for kids to swim and play in the waves. Great snorkeling right from the beach, easy for kids as well. Helpful and friendly staff (at least one with really good English. ). Sure, some parts of the resort are not well maintained, but that didn't really disturb us. Great place to stay if you like peace and quiet, enjoy snorkeling and just relaxing surrounded by beautiful nature.

The best bay of the island, the only problem is the manager, unkind and unhelpful. The resort is beautiful but not well taken care of. You can see from the pictures.

A severe tourist, all have to ask, from airport the grid over the bed to towels for the beach, but all kombodzhijcy if they ask run and immediately do.

We went to Koh Kut by chance… We went to Koh Canggu and wandered into the Thai travel… The photos were like Koh Kut Island and Koh Kood Resort Hotel (We were told about what is there and where it is). When I arrived with my wife and with a small child (we drove with one night) the wife had a shock… There is no fridge, no air con (it turns on there only at 18.00), there is no normal hot water (there is hardly any heat flowing). There is a fan in each room. But all these "disadvantages" compensated nature, sea, restaurant at the hotel, serving staff (mostly Cambodians), silence, free kayaks, masks for diving. The next day the wife did not want to leave. And now being in Russia, we again want to Koh Kut Island and it is to the hotel Kood resort.

Went here in 2011 an 2012, a more idyllic place you will never find. Many claim to be untouched islands this one really is.
