We stayed here during our holiday in Italy with our three kids and had a wonderful experience. The hosts were genuinely hospitable, welcoming us like family and making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay.
The rooms were very clean and well maintained. Our room had the added charm of an outdoor roof patio, which quickly became our favorite spot to relax after exploring the city.
Breakfast was a highlight each morning — beautifully curated with pastries and jam all handmade by the hosts. It felt like a personal touch that made the start of each day special.
The location is excellent. All the major sites and plenty of restaurants are within walking distance, so it was easy to get around with the kids without needing transport.
Overall, a memorable stay with the right mix of comfort, thoughtful hospitality, and convenience. Highly recommended for families or anyone looking for an authentic and welcoming experience in the heart of the city.
Amazing place, original concept, and very personal service by Michele and Simone. Ideal for a family weekend and steps away from the panoramic view of Matera's historical district. The breakfast was homecooked, local and delicious. The hosts gave great advice on restaurants and activities.

The house is all about art, from the way the owners are living to the way they are welcoming their guests.
You can see it on the walls, through Michele’s works of art, you can taste it through Simone’s food.
Even the light in the entire house was soft and everything created a perfect calming effect.
Simone prepared our food and it was delicious. Both of them were super involved and ready to help us discovering the city’s hidden gems.
