Great Stay!
Clean, quiet, and comfortable room in the newly renovated wing. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the on-site diner served a delicious breakfast.

All good. Booked a 2 bedroom suite for my brother and me. Overnight parking was only $6.25. Parking is adjacent to building. Quiet and safe. There are plenty of restaurants and groceries nearby.

Positive: Very nice and upscale for the price. Modern and new furnitures. Negative: Breakfast is not inclouded and is expensive.

HnH is a 13 year tradition that we wouldn’t give up for the world. Amazing view, scenic lake, and all the amenities you need. See you again next year!

A little dated, but clean and well kept, and extremely peaceful!

To be honest the rooms where ok. You get the pure basics a key to your room. It can be confusing to locate your room as I found out.

Was in Toronto for my first time for a memorial summer 2024. Had it not been for this hotel I wouldn’t have been able to afford the 4-5 days I’d stayed.

Many thanks to Lucas, he took care of me when I arrived at the house without a reservation or anything, he gave me a very clean, warm and cozy room.

This place is as customary as staying in your own home.

Stayed at one of their places for a few months while moving in between homes. The condo was really well maintained & had everything I needed.

Wonderful stay! The place was incredibly clean, tidy, and well looked after. I felt very welcome — the host was warm, friendly, and super accommodating. A perfect home away from home.

It’s a stormy weekend and we really felt like enjoying some comfort food. We opted for a Valois poutine as we’ve enjoyed them in the past.

This is all that remains of the best chicken pot pie ever. Every time I eat here I'm more impressed.

Nice place with reasonable price. Good communication and no problems with check in. Kitchen has everything you need. Quiet neighbourhood.

My son is a University student in Waterloo. He required a temporary location for a 6-week period until his apartment was available. Boardwalk was there to help.

I almost never leave reviews but felt inclined to just because of some of the negative ones here that almost stopped me from staying… older place, but such clean facilities and friendly/helpful staff.

Have stayed a couple times but not for a while. FLW came up in a conversation so here I am. I love this place and sadly not many places exist like this exist these days. Hope to come back soon.

We were pleasantly surprised after having a horrible experience in another motel in town 😊 the staff was friendly, the room was spacious, very comfortable beds, a fireplace heater made it toasty

My family stayed in this location (August 29th to September 7th) for more than a week.

Experience. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and check-in was quick and easy. Nothing fancy or over the top, but it did the job for a short stay.

The rooms have been beautifully renovated. Everything you need for your stay. Each room has a little patio area where you can sit and have morning coffee.

We were tenting in the area and had to move to a hotel due to storms last minute. We were one of the first to stay in one of the newly renovated rooms. They were nice and clean.

Extremely nice staff, they brought us a blanket for our dog when we told them we had one.

The location, cleanliness and customer service were fantastic! We will be back! Thank you!

It was good and clean, Suite.
Also, it's affordable.
I recommend this location because most of the day you are in nature so it's better to save your money.
Staff were polite, too.

I wanted to take a moment to share my 5 star review for the professionalism displayed by Talbot Trail Inn & Suites owner & staff members.

We spent 3 nights and everthing was phenomenal. Property is on the lake, air conditioning, kayaks, bbq and clean cottages. Will be back.

Great family place … awesome lake view cabin with tv, fully air conditioned. Kids had lot of fun. Will be back next year. Thanks for having us.

Positive: Great location if you want to go skating on the canal, it's just about a 5 minute walk away. Good clean basic accommodations at a reasonable price.

Visiting Ottawa for one night to attend the World Juniors. Very pleased with our experience.

A very nice place and the rooms neat with total privacy, I will certainly visit again anytime I happen to be in Ottawa.

Large rooms with comfortable and large beds. My room had a mini fridge and microwave and a desk as well as a closet and couch. Felt like a bachelor apartment.

Great motel! The service was above and beyond. So personal and attentive. It was clean and the view was so pretty. It was quiet and peaceful. If I’m in the area I’d rent a room here again.

We had a great time staying at Algonquin Lakeside Inn. We were there earlier this week. The room was spacious, with a hot tub, facing the water.
They environment was serene.

This is a great location with excellent accommodation and breakfast. Kim was great and very helpful. Close to downtown and near the river. Parking in rear of building was clear of snow.

From waking up to one of the most beautiful views one can experience, to relaxing in a hot tub with a view after a long day, windswept provides something much needed in a modern world.

Recently stayed there for 7 sleeps while working in the area. More than I expected. Clean, quiet, comfortable. Lots of parking and good access.

I would like to start by saying this was my best place to stay while travelling ever, and it was by accident!
