I wanted to like the Satelite. There was a nice sitting area/patio around the back and it looked very clean. However, there were Kraft Singles of an indeterminate age in the fridge, the air freshener in the room was too strong to not be covering up something foul, the toilet/sink leaked, and only one lamp worked (no ceiling light). It was really an unpleasant stay.

Comfy beds, accommodating staff. Toilet bowl had an unfortunate leak, but overall a minor considering the short nature of our stay.

Could feel the bugs crawling on my skin and even worse when I came back to my room to find the dirty smelly contents of another room or possibly yhe owners living quarters piled around the entance of my room with a matress leaning against my window. I was told it temporary but it remained there all morning and at least past 3 pm when we left for the afternoon. Don't stay rear unless your shots are up to date and you have medical benifits. Nice and clean motel with a very helpful manager. Slightly dated but that lends it to the charm!

I was not expecting a lot for the price but It looks like bed sheet are not changed between customers… I found a lot of hair on the white sheets.

This hotel had bad ratings however our stay was very comfortable — we had a pet room as we had a dog — it was clean comfortable and reasonably priced, hot water in the shower — I spoke to the owner about the bad reviews and I agree with his answer that thosepeople expected a 5 star room when this is a economy hotel — I give it a thumbs up for the price.

Basic motel. No frills but convenient, clean, comfortable and cheap.

Eye Level Boogers! The worst place ever. Run, sleep in your car, eat all night at McDonalds but do NOT sleep here, gross.

Comfortable enough rooms but I swear mine smelled musty or like a wet dog had been in it… online usually goes for about 79/night but we were charged 100

It was nicer than we expected. Great place to crash for a night if you're travelling through.

I have stayed at the Satellite Motel on a number of occasions over the years. I have always found the rooms clean and dry. All of the appliances function and the staff have always been obliging during my visits. Unless something drastic occurs, the Satellite will always be my first choice of motel in the Sault.

Clean budget motel. Good value. Would stay here again.

Cute little motel. The room was clean and well-stocked with soaps and the like. It was very cold when we got there, but once we turned up the heat, it warmed up quickly. We arrived late at night and didn't have to wait to be given the keys to our room. I would stay there again, if I was travelling on a budget.

My sister and I stayed at the Satelite Motel in the end of December. The room we had was ver nice, we were both very impressed. It was clean and comfortable. The service was great and we really enjoyed ourselves. Thanks.

I do not recommend booking at this motel. Poor quality room for the price and the new management is very rude. Rooms smell like urine and beds are very uncomfortable.
