Great location! The rooms are small of course, but the price was so good we each had our own room! I was perfectly comfortable.

While it has a business hotel vibe, this is an excellent value. A short walk to a subway station and close to restaurants and nightlife, yet surprisingly quiet for the location.

I stayed in this hotel from Jan 18-21, 2026.
All the staff were very polite, friendly and helpful.

Price is very good and is ideal especially for the solo traveller. Morning breakfast also comes with a good selection.
Laundry and vending machines also accessible.
Will come again in the future.

Just stayed here for one night on a layover. But everything was great. It's a very typical Japanese business hotel — small tidy rooms, clean, good amenities like vending machines, coin laundry, etc.

The rooms are nice and well designed (quite spacious for Tokyo standards), we were staying on the 5th floor and had no noise disturbances.

Stayed here for quite a few days, it was a pretty good cheap place near Tokyo, Omori is a wonderful station and in 30 minutes you get to any big city of Tokyo.

2nd year visiting Japan. I've stayed at 4 APA hotels this year for my vacation (2nd time in Omori location) and loved all of them.

Room was decent. No daily cleaning but they give you the option to change towel daily.
Location is directly infront of Asuka line and walking distance to JR line.

Really convenient within 2-3mins walk from Gotanda Station (Yamanote Line).

We stayed at this hotel after our arrival at Tokyo for the convenience of its free shuttle to Shinagawa Station to go to Osaka the next day.

Hanare is such a special place! We only had 1 night at hanare, but wish we had stayed longer — we will definitely be back next time we are in Tokyo.

I had a relaxing stay in the hotel. I stayed at Niwa Room and it’s absolutely charming. Environment is very quiet and serene. The staff are all very thoughtful. Breakfast is incredible.

I went to Japan for the first time and I stayed at the hotel for a week. It was a very lovely hotel. Bathroom was small for me but I didn’t mind it at all. The hotel staff was awesome and very kind.

Location is unmatched. Less than 10 minutes to a train station and Donquijote/food street and Meiji shrine area.
Room is old and hotel feels old.

Great hub to explore Tokyo. Rooms have a decent size and are very clean. Staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive.

If you are a light sleeper, you must book a deluxe room so you are facing the back of the hotel.

I’ve stayed at this capsule hostel twice, each time for more than a week, and both stays were very comfortable. The capsules offer good privacy, which makes it easy to relax even during longer stays.

We were lucky enough to get the larger room with two queens. It was by far the biggest place we had in Japan in an awesome area. The sauna and cold plunge were amazing to help with jet lag.

Its a great place to stay, saunaland is not a hotel, more like a sauna place but they have some rooms to stay. We stayed in for our last night in Tokyo.

I stayed at Toyoko INN Ueno Tawaramachi Station on October 10, 2025, during a business trip to Tokyo.

Great Overall experience. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The Check-in and check-out was very simple and hassle free.

Typical Toyoko Inn: Small clean rooms, pleasant helpful staff, good location 5 minute walk from Uguisudani Station, tasty filling breakfast. Restaurants, convenience stores, etc. In area.

Good choice for budget travelers. Room is very tight even by the Japanese standard. You can only open one carry on luggage at a time. Complementary breakfast is minimum.

Convenient luggage storage, can be dropped off before checking in time. They have a big flat screen TV attached to the wall in front of your bed and a mini fridge under your desk.

I frequently travel to Tokyo and this would be my favourite hotel to stay.

This is a great little hotel near station. Nicely decorated for a 3 star, unique vibes, front desk excellent, warm, cosy and clean rooms. Has excellent laundry facilities.

What a wonderful experience. The location from the nearest station Ikebukuro station is less than 10 mins walk.
