A lovely hotel and friendly staff. Perfect for the middle to budget cost conscious traveller. The rooms are a good size with a perfectly compact but well thought out bathroom.

5min walk from 2 major train stations in a very quiet neighbourhood. Was main reason for picking this hotel.

We have stayed here several times for work in previous years and always had a standard enjoyable stay. However this year is the first year there has been complimentary spritz in the lounge everyday.

We stayed at Tokyu Stay and had a really comfortable experience. We met Anne at the bar area—she was very friendly and warmly welcomed us, and we ended up chatting for a while.

Wow. What a hotel, this area kind of reminded me of Shoreditch in London in the mid 2000’s, lots of vintage, records, restaurants (you literally can’t go wrong) etc etc, easy to get to the shopping

​I recently stayed at the Mustard Hotel Shimokitazawa for three nights, from November 15th to 18th in room 228. We were on the second floor, where the majority of the rooms are located.

The Edoya hotel was the first hotel where we stayed upon our arrival in Tokyo. The rooms are just like we expected, the experience is unique for a very very very reasonable prize. Breakfast was great.

We had an absolutely lovely stay here, and it was our first introduction to a japanese style hotel in our travel. And still here at the end of our trip, it was one of the best places we stayed.

The hotel is in a small shopping centre near a number of restaurants and shops nearby and only 5-10 minute walk from the metro.

Nice hotel with close proximity to subway station, from there ypu can explore Tokyo. Room is clean & the staff were wondeful. Most importantly budget friendly.

We stayed here for three nights and the highlights are definitely the hotel's hot baths; buffet breakfast; and proximity to a big selection of eateries.

Staying at Rembrandt Cabin & Spa in Shimbashi was a truly relaxing and memorable experience.

I really enjoyed my stay at Rembrandt, keeping in mind that it's a capsule hostel with spa facilities rather than a full-service hotel.

Super convenient location right next to family mart, 7/11 and train stations. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and well up-kept.

I travelled to Tokyo over the Christmas holidays with my parents and stayed at Agora Tokyo Ginza for a week (we booked a Deluxe Twin and a Superior King room for a total of three adults).

Great service. Awesome staff. Value for money. Accessible to Tokyo station in 15 minutes by train. Use both JR and metro lines. Do take the room with breakfast it will save you time every morning.

One of the best hotels I've stayed at in Tokyo. The room was perfect for one person and very clean. It had a washing machine with clear instructions on how to use it, which was very convenient.

I like this chain of hotels due to the modern decor, helpful staff and in room amenities especially the washer/dryer units.

For around $68 (10, 000 yen), Toyoko Inn Tokyo Station Shin-Ohashi Mae provides incredible value for travelers needing easy access to Tokyo Station.

Great location near Tokyo Station and relatively close underground station. The staff was extremely kind, helped us to save money by using their membership card.

4 Stars — A Great Short-Stay Hotel with a Few Easy Fixes.
Let me start by saying this hotel could easily be a five-star short-stay experience with a few improvements.

We need an airport hotel where we can catch up on sleep during a late layover, and this hotel was perfect for that.

Stayed here for four nights. I’ve stayed other places in the same area but for what you pay for, this one is highly recommended.
Free drinks and amenities located at the lobby.

Clean, makes you feel like home, nice staff, pajama, fridge and microwave available in room. Some rooms are quite small, but they are clean and have a good bed — serve the purpose.

Concierge staff, cleaning staff, restaurant staff were all very polite, helpful, and hospitable. Location was great with views of Tokyo Bay, and access to the monorail and Rinkai line.

This is one the nicest business hotels I have ever stayed. Front desk staff are very helpful and truly friendly. They offer laundry facilities in the basement, but not folding table.

A quite neigbourhood area, which is good and not chaotic places like Shibuya or Shinjuku.
Shinagawa Seaside Station is located a few metres away that make the trip so convenient.

The lobby is clean and peaceful, and checking in through the machine was convenient. The lobby also offers a variety of amenities.
We were given a room with a building view, but it wasn’t bad at all.

This hotel uses a self-check-in system, so foreign travelers should note that you’ll need to input your home address during the process.

Staff — Hotel receptionists were prompt and efficient. They were able to communicate clearly in English. The check-in and check-out processes were relatively fast.

Stay: Couple. 2 nights in October 2025. Standard room for 2 guests, non-smoking.
Staff: Not exactly friendly but not rude either. Guided us to use the self check-in machine.
Location: Excellent.

Ueno, Tokyo was the last stop of our Japan trip. Apa Hotel Ueno Eki Minami was a great hotel for it's modern design, and it was super clean and the staff we're extremely friendly.

The room was actually larger than normal for an APA. Great location for the station or shopping.

Fantastic location for exploring the city. 5 mins walk to Okachimachi Stn, under 10mins for Ueno Stn. The walk to each is fascinating, always loads to see but not as manic as Shinbuya or Shinjuko.

It was our first time staying at Koko Hotel, and we’re glad we decided to change our booking at the last minute.

Good location and comfortable room.
Perfect for solo traveller. The room size is larger than expected. Suitcase can be fully opened. Air conditioner is separate in each room.

Convenient location, it is a 17-20 mins walk to Sensoji and the shopping areas but it is perfect, in the sense that it is peaceful and quiet.

It was our first time in Japan, and it was everything that we expected. The room was intimate but had everything we needed.

I had a great stay at Tokyu Stay. The location was very convenient, with easy access to the subway and plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby.

Had a wonderful stay at Tokyu Stay Ikebukuro! The hotel was very clean and well-maintained. It’s conveniently located near the train station, making it super easy to get around Tokyo.
