Cozy hotel, good location.
You have nearly all you need.
I see the Skytree from my room. Close to Ueno eki (Yamanote line! ) And Ginza line.
No breakfast offered, but nearby cafe and konbini.

Really lovely hotel in a good area near ueno main station and a local subway. Staff very helpful with forwarding luggage and luggage storage companies.

Staying here 7 nights, everything is excellent.
Can store my luggage at the hotel before check in.
Check in at 3 pm.
Room size is small but thats expected, which is same as other hotel in Tokyo.

Rooms: Always clean but covers are a bit worn out. Compared to other rooms/hotels you might get one that the walkable space is quite limited.

This was the second time we stayed at this hotel for our trip at Tokyo.

Good location, easy access to Ueno station and Asakusa, Akihabara are within walking distance through the busy streets filled with interesting sights and nice small cafes (depends on which direction

The bed was very comfy and it was very quiet, so we had a good night sleep. The room was very clean. We appreciated the complementary coffee and tea.

As an American if you are expecting large rooms and the typical USA experience, dont come here with that mindset. This is a lovely small room that has the basic needs met.

I personally really liked this hotel. It's close to restaurants and stations and has everything in close proximity. The only downside is the noise insulation is not that good.

We stay 5nights here. Location was very best. Very convinient, walking distance to Ueno Station or Okumachi Station, JR, Metro and bus. Walking distance to Aemeyoko Street, very easy to find food.

I loved our stay at this hotel in Ikebukuro! Here are my pros & cons:
Pros:
• Good size for a room in Tokyo! We had plenty of space to get packed up at the end of our trip.

The whole staff has been very kind. The location is perfect, near the heart of Ikebukuro and with plenty of restaurants, konbini, and shops nearby.

Nice place to stay, will come back again.

Small, dated but clean and affordable hotel.
Note that the "breakfast" is just some basic bread and cereal. It is not a proper breakfast buffet. Treat it as a non-breakfast hotel.

Overall very nice experience. Need rooms relatively new. Very clean good services offered.

Very nice hotel nearby shopping district and located just by the train and bus stations. Very convenient to get anywhere in the city.

Had an amazing time in Tokyo. R&B Hotel is in a great location. It’s close to the train station (a two minute walk) with lots of shops and restaurants around.

Loved this hotel so much. Convenient spot with a Don Quijote, McDonalds & a seven eleven all opposite it. Nice staff and the most peaceful train station sleep sounds. The pajamas were nice too :)

Good personal experience, spatious room compared to previous stay, very well maintained. Location is great, close to Akabane station for commerce, visiting stores in Shibuya.

I thought it was exceptional. Good breakfast, pillow bar, cocktail bar, quiet guests generally bc many are salarymen. Staff very helpful. Easy access to Disneyland.

We stayed at Super Hotel Tokyo JR Shinkoiwa for 7 days and had a great experience.

Good location — about 10 mins walk to Kabukichō where all the entertainment is. Also close to Shinjuku JR station west exit. Front desk staffs are friendly and able to communicate fluently in English.

A very good hotel in the heart of Shinjuku, in a quiet area. The room was Japanese standard size, not very big but good enough and very comfortable.

Very nice, minimalist hotel. The rooms are small but perfectly manageable for a solo traveller.

This hotel was great and affordable. One thing I love about the hotel is location and accessibility to the Shinjuku station. The staff was very kind and accommodating.

5min walk from 2 major train stations in a very quiet neighbourhood. Was main reason for picking this hotel.

We have stayed here several times for work in previous years and always had a standard enjoyable stay. However this year is the first year there has been complimentary spritz in the lounge everyday.

We stayed at Tokyu Stay and had a really comfortable experience. We met Anne at the bar area—she was very friendly and warmly welcomed us, and we ended up chatting for a while.

Wow. What a hotel, this area kind of reminded me of Shoreditch in London in the mid 2000’s, lots of vintage, records, restaurants (you literally can’t go wrong) etc etc, easy to get to the shopping

​I recently stayed at the Mustard Hotel Shimokitazawa for three nights, from November 15th to 18th in room 228. We were on the second floor, where the majority of the rooms are located.

The Edoya hotel was the first hotel where we stayed upon our arrival in Tokyo. The rooms are just like we expected, the experience is unique for a very very very reasonable prize. Breakfast was great.

We had an absolutely lovely stay here, and it was our first introduction to a japanese style hotel in our travel. And still here at the end of our trip, it was one of the best places we stayed.

The hotel is in a small shopping centre near a number of restaurants and shops nearby and only 5-10 minute walk from the metro.

Nice hotel with close proximity to subway station, from there ypu can explore Tokyo. Room is clean & the staff were wondeful. Most importantly budget friendly.

We stayed here for three nights and the highlights are definitely the hotel's hot baths; buffet breakfast; and proximity to a big selection of eateries.

Staying at Rembrandt Cabin & Spa in Shimbashi was a truly relaxing and memorable experience.

I really enjoyed my stay at Rembrandt, keeping in mind that it's a capsule hostel with spa facilities rather than a full-service hotel.

Super convenient location right next to family mart, 7/11 and train stations. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and well up-kept.

I travelled to Tokyo over the Christmas holidays with my parents and stayed at Agora Tokyo Ginza for a week (we booked a Deluxe Twin and a Superior King room for a total of three adults).

Great service. Awesome staff. Value for money. Accessible to Tokyo station in 15 minutes by train. Use both JR and metro lines. Do take the room with breakfast it will save you time every morning.
