Hotels in Kyoto with Breakfast near Old Rissei Elementary School

We came to Len for breakfast every morning during our four day visit to Kyoto, as it was a very convenient few block walk from our hotel, and there was always a table available.

This place is lovely — very friendly. Met a group of people here.

We had 4 nights at this hotel and found it very comfortable. Great location within 5 minutes of the covered market streets and Nishiki market.

Well situated: near the famous market, great restaurants in the area and not far to a metro station to get to the shrines and temples on the eastern side of Kyoto.

Great location and really cool historic kyoto building. The landlady was also super helpful and very patient with my bad Japanese. The private baths were also a plus.

Such a wonderful experience to have while visiting kyoto. Beautiful location, and great hosts. We enjoyed a private traditional breakfast during our stay. Would definitely recommend.

We had an amazing stay at Ryokan Kohro.

Tucked away in a quiet street, this lovely ryokan has public baths and gorgeous spacious rooms. We also had a traditional diner which consisted of 8 courses. We paired it with sake.

Stayed here for only a night. The room was spacious and it was my first time staying in a traditional room. Fit 4 people into one room. Also my first experience in onsen.

A brilliant location, just a short walk from the station, and the heart of Kyoto and Gion.
I particularly loved the Onsen here.

Nice hotel. Only take 5 mins to walk to main street and few mins walk to the train station. Price is super valuable.

Great service in a great location close to many iconic attractions in Eastern Kyoto. Also close to convenience stores!

Typical Japanese experience. The room is spacious, we slept on the tatames/futons which the staff makes for you. And kudos to the staff that are beyond helpful and gentle.

It was good to experience a Japanese ryokan. The room was fairly big as compared to other Japanese hotels we stayed in. The Wi-Fi was very bad in the rooms though.

Quiet and centrally located. I was nervous because there were so few reviews and one mentioned a bug problem but it ended up being for nothing. The room was large and clean.

Nice place for 1 night to feel like in real japan. Tea for welcoming is served. Breakfast is very nice.

I absolutely LOVED this little teahouse hotel. It's very beautiful and so homely you just feel so welcomed like you're staying with a host family.

Beautifully renovated machiya, excellent location, fully equipped and furnished with great taste. Wish I had stayed longer to fully appreciate this gem.

We stayed at the rental house as group of 4. Extremely high standard facilities with tasteful design — we loved the open garden, spacious living room, and good heating system + shower.

I love the facilities there. The blanket and mattress is comfy. And there is basin in the room. For those who arrived after 9pm.

Really nice hostel with modern facilities. Breakfast offered is toast and tea/coffee which is a nice touch and saves you having to worry about where to eat.

We just love Meguru house, my family enjoyed every minute of the 5 days at this home. Location is excellent, just steps away from bus stop, grocery store, and a short walk to the Nishiki Market.

Wow this place is an architectural dream. So well designed and the construction is gorgeous.

The distance from the hotel to any important place in Kyoto is not too far and easily to walk and spend 15-30 minutes by walk with one of the best weather in the world.
