SPA Hotels in Borneo

We give **Raia Hotel** 5 stars and strongly recommend this hotel because of the excellent service we received throughout our stay. The staff truly made us feel at home and warmly welcomed.

Had our first buka puasa at the Kenyalang Restaurant excellent food varities and friendly f& b staff. I would like to compliment Guest Assistant Manager Tania.

The Marriott was a nice establishment. The rooms were spacious and clean. We did experience an air conditioner problem.

In the absolute, Mulu Marriott is imperfect in many ways. But many reviewers miss that the very existence of this property in Mulu, 100km deep in the Borneo jungle, excuses many shortcomings.

A great getaway from KK.
It is a dream if you are qualified and want to do some chilled diving. There are three wrecks here to explore and plenty of macro life. Night dives are especially good.

Just a 15 minute boat ride from Jesselton Point ferry terminal.
My family were accompanied by Jess from Rainbow island resort.

Thank you to concierge staff Cedric for great warmth welcome during my check in. He started my birthday holiday so memorable just only once I’m stepped in to this hotel. Nice sea view from my room.

All the staff are very friendly and kind. They take action fast to our concerns. I would suggest to update their first kit as it didn’t have items needed for first aid when we needed for our daughter.

Perfect for a relaxing holiday. Almost private beach and in the middle of local nature. Great place to leave the city life behind you. Service and staff is awesome. Enjoy your stay!

Had a two night stay there. The rooms were crisp, clean and fresh. Service was really top notch and loved every bit of it, hospitality I would say is 10/10.

A wonderful stay at the Waterfront – Exceptional service and breathtaking sunsets!
We recently stayed at the Pullman Miri Waterfront and had a fantastic experience.

My recent stay at the Pullman Miri Waterfront was absolutely flawless from start to finish.

The hotel itself is very nice. The staff were very kind and our room was great, though the showering water was somewhat little. They did a really great job designing the area considering the location.

We chose Miri Mariott Resort & Spa for our first anniversary trip, a staycation for healing after our recent miscarriage. We had informed the hotel about our reason for visiting beforehand.

The morning breakfast is superb. Staffs are friendly. Location is good, call Grab to any down area less than RM 7. You can totally enjoy grab freedom.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, good facilities.
Sanipa from the restaurant was very friendly and kind.
Food nice, plenty of places to eat.

Just amazing.
Look, this is a perfectly managed accomodation.

Great value for money! The service, room cleanliness and quality exceeded expectations! Staff and discreet yet super attentive.

What an incredibly wonderful place which exceeded my expectations.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Ritz Residence Kota Kinabalu, and it was an absolute standout experience.

Spent the most enjoyable day at the resort! Our vacation was made even more unforgettable by the staff's warmth and kindness.

Love the people and amazing environment there.

The room is very clean and comfy for business travel. The staff Mr. Rahman is very helpful during my checkin and checkout time.

I stayed at Tune Hotel 1 Borneo for 2 nights. The location is very strategic as it is located inside 1 Borneo Hypermall, making it easy to find food, shop, and access many nearby stores.

An amazing stay at The Magellan Sutera Resort!
From the moment we arrived, the service was top-notch.

Staying at The Magellan Sutera Resort was truly one of the most magical experiences of my life.

We recently stayed at this hotel to wrap up our trip around Borneo, and it was the perfect ending to our adventure! The hotel is conveniently close to the airport, making our departure stress-free.

Beautiful resort on Tanjung Aru. Really nice resort style. Rooms may be a bit dated but comfortable. We stayed in the sea facing suite and it was impeccable.

We stayed on the 8th floor with a partial sea view. The hotel is a little old, but it is generally clean, well maintained, and comfortable.

Great place to stay in terms of location. Shops, markets, Gaya St etc all 2-3 minutes walk.

What more could I ask for?!
We were astonished by the size of our villa and our Kinabalu Villa has the best view of the mountain from across.

We honeymooned at Gaya Island for 7 nights and had the most amazing experience. If you are after a relaxed, friendly atmosphere that doesn't feel too over the top this is the place for you.

Lovely hotel with big rooms, huge bath and awesome pool area. Very clean and staff very helpful and friendly. 20 minute walk into town and close to English Tea house and Agnes Keith House.

Stylish, clean and comfortable. Great pool 💦

The bed was super comfy, and the sunset view was amazing. The location is really convenient since it’s connected to Parkcity Mall, made grabbing daily essentials so easy!

I was been here for work, visit mill in Bintulu.

Gayana Marine Resort is an idyllic place to spend time and relax.

We had a wonderful stay at Gayana for my friend’s birthday. She even received a complimentary birthday dessert, which was a pleasant surprise.

Absolutely wonderful stay at Grand Palace! The staff were delightful, the rooms spacious and the location was wonderful.

One of the most outstanding hotels in Miri. I will definitely come back again in the future. The overall experience was truly excellent, from the service to the comfort and hospitality provided.

Location was great. Near to lot of eateries, banks and mini market and attraction places like Gaya Night Market and morning market (Sunday)
Room ambience was good. Cleanliness was good.

The hotel is in a great location, making it very convenient to go anywhere. The rooms are large and clean. The guy at the front desk named Bradley is particularly nice.

It met my main objective as upon travel me n family, we loved to do out door activities.

Pure Level 13 Luxury & World-Class Service! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
My stay at the Hyatt Regency Kinabalu was absolute perfection.

This is not my first time staying in HRK. It is my husband’s first. And we can’t agree much loving the hotel — the best amongst many we have stayed in throughout our travel journeys.

If you love flowers, you should visit this place! They have a lot of hydrangeas. Some cosmos, cally lily and sone other flower I don’t know the name of. Place is huge.

We went here on 25/01/2026 as part of our full-day Kundasang trip, and this was our first stop. When we arrived, the weather was okay, though it started drizzling a bit later.

There were a few rooms, ours stated it was a shared bathroom bedroom during booking, but it wasn't. Only the room above us was air conditioned. Everything was comfortable.

Great value for money! The owner is very friendly, the view is beautiful, and there are even some cute cats around. It’s also convenient for elderly guests since there aren’t too many stairs.
