I had a wonderful 2-night stay in a suite room at Perkasa Hotel Kundasang. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

This is a really peaceful and beautiful resort. I came with a group after trekking through the jungle. Pool is massive and warm.
It was a great place to relax. Right on the beach.

I stayed at Palm Beach Resort & Spa Labuan last week for a workshop. The room looked a bit old but still in good condition — spacious, with a huge bathroom and a private veranda offering a nice view.

As of 5th March 2026, went to the Ramadhan Buffet for the first time to break my fast. The FOH was friendly as they kindly guided me to my seat. The crew here were friendly and service was excellent.

The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel truly welcome from the moment we arrived.

In the absolute, Mulu Marriott is imperfect in many ways. But many reviewers miss that the very existence of this property in Mulu, 100km deep in the Borneo jungle, excuses many shortcomings.

Our stay at Mulu Marriott Resort was truly exceptional. The location alone is breathtaking, surrounded by pristine rainforest and the unique beauty of Mulu National Park.

Room light need to be fix some lamp not function. Overall good 💯

Accidentally left a very sentimental blanket there, they found it in the piles of laundry.

Perfect for a relaxing holiday. Almost private beach and in the middle of local nature. Great place to leave the city life behind you. Service and staff is awesome. Enjoy your stay!

Had a two night stay there. The rooms were crisp, clean and fresh. Service was really top notch and loved every bit of it, hospitality I would say is 10/10.

The morning breakfast is superb. Staffs are friendly. Location is good, call Grab to any down area less than RM 7. You can totally enjoy grab freedom.

We recently stayed at this hotel to wrap up our trip around Borneo, and it was the perfect ending to our adventure! The hotel is conveniently close to the airport, making our departure stress-free.

Beautiful resort on Tanjung Aru. Really nice resort style. Rooms may be a bit dated but comfortable. We stayed in the sea facing suite and it was impeccable.

The hotel itself is very nice. The staff were very kind and our room was great, though the showering water was somewhat little. They did a really great job designing the area considering the location.

We chose Miri Mariott Resort & Spa for our first anniversary trip, a staycation for healing after our recent miscarriage. We had informed the hotel about our reason for visiting beforehand.

Staying at The Magellan Sutera Resort was truly one of the most magical experiences of my life.

I recently stayed at The Magellan Sutera Resort for 4 days and 3 nights due to a family emergency, and overall it was a very pleasant stay.
For the price paid, the room and service were very good.

We stayed on the 8th floor with a partial sea view. The hotel is a little old, but it is generally clean, well maintained, and comfortable.

Great place to stay in terms of location. Shops, markets, Gaya St etc all 2-3 minutes walk.

Amazing rooms and views, but I had some issues with the service. We got locked out of our room and we were unable to reach the phone to the receptionist… which was in the room.

Ian and I went to Gaya Island Resort in January to celebrate our birthdays.

Location is ideal as the entrance is close to the mall and building next door. Interior design is as good as what othes have uploaded. Staffs were very friendly, helpful and accomodating to our needs.

SO, this is an excellent place to stay in Kota Kinabalu. The room is very clean, and well maintained.

I stayed at Tune Hotel 1 Borneo for 2 nights. The location is very strategic as it is located inside 1 Borneo Hypermall, making it easy to find food, shop, and access many nearby stores.

This is my first time staying at Tune Hotel 1borneo for 3 days and I highly recommend it for everyone to stay here.

Gayana Marine Resort is an idyllic place to spend time and relax.

We had a wonderful stay at Gayana for my friend’s birthday. She even received a complimentary birthday dessert, which was a pleasant surprise.

Classy, comfortable and clean hotel rooms. Reasonable rate. Good service from the staffs as well. Location is perfect, don't have to worry about food. Plenty of eateries around.

The hotel is old, but clean. The amneties could use some upgrades, but neverthe less, I love the cotton linens, freshly laundered smell. Nearby Halal food eateries are not that many.

Thank you to concierge staff Cedric for great warmth welcome during my check in. He started my birthday holiday so memorable just only once I’m stepped in to this hotel. Nice sea view from my room.

All the staff are very friendly and kind. They take action fast to our concerns. I would suggest to update their first kit as it didn’t have items needed for first aid when we needed for our daughter.

I recently stayed at Damai Lagoon for 3 days and 2 nights. Overall, it was another enjoyable experience, and I will definitely be coming back again in the future.

Had a wonderful stay at this resort, especially in the Baruk Room which offered a beautiful and relaxing view. The staff were very friendly, attentive and always helpful throughout our stay.

But great view, pillow and mattress comfortable, great food and plenty of food served.

It was my first journey to Lawas — Sarawak — Malaysia a week ago. I went there with my friend. He/She was doing business and I just took vacation. We stayed at a Homestay which simple but comfortable.

Location was great. Near to lot of eateries, banks and mini market and attraction places like Gaya Night Market and morning market (Sunday)
Room ambience was good. Cleanliness was good.

The hotel is in a great location, making it very convenient to go anywhere. The rooms are large and clean. The guy at the front desk named Bradley is particularly nice.
