Great service by staff and Resort Manager, Karl, leading the whole team to meet guests' expectations. Excellent and scrumptious food. Had fun going into the water to swim with the fishes directly from the room, kayaking and feeding the giant Grouper. Would love to return to this 5-star resort.

We spend our Christmas Eve here. Friendly staff and the food was good. I had my 1st attempt kayak here too it was fun. Had a great time staying here. Will visit again soon.

This is our first vacation in 6 months. We really enjoyed the Resort. Thanks to Karl and the friendly staffs at Gayana, our stay feels like home and very welcoming. We are very happy to see the wild life thriving and roaming free at the resort. We spotted a pair of Hornbills, Kingfisher, Owl, Eagles, a troop of Macaques, and of course Bangal the cat. Not forgetting the colourful Marine life! The hospitality and food was amazing too. Best poached eggs cooked to perfection.

A beautiful 5 star island resort which located nearest to the city. We’d stayed in ocean villa, room are very spacious and the crystal ocean view was magnificent. The foods are very nice and delicious as well. Its really recommended for those who seek a relaxing trip away from city.

This is the first ever worst holiday resort that I’ve been visited so far, only 1 restaurant is open with so limited type of food, no bar, no Wi-Fi, no convenient shop, complimentary water given only 2 bottles and the rest need to be charge, the only facility is equipment for snorkeling and kayaking.
The resort manager is giving such a nonsense excuses to stop us from bringing our own drinks here even we offer to pay the corkage. He said this is a 5 star hotel resort but I don’t feel that I’m staying in a 5 star resort with such a bad service n experience.

Recommended. Perfect for family get away from bz traffic city. In-house services is nt disappointed. All being taking care of.

An idyllic setting between the sea and jungle And a trip of no more than 30 minutes to reach the main city of KK. Additionally you can travel by boat to their sister resort and use all of their facilities too. If you want VIP service: Mr Carl and his wonderful team deliver! Nothing was too much and everyone was so genuinely friendly and kind. And if something goes wrong it’s put right.
For activities Hendry can arrange dives and all the water sports and an unforgettable jungle trek through the “3 hills”. But be warned it’s not easy! But will certainly burn off the calories from the sumptuous breakfasts included in our package that can be delivered by boat to the room.
An example of outstanding service: towards the very end of our trip we mentioned to Siti (duty manager) that we had a late flight but could we continue to use facilities; the following morning she had arranged for a complementary extension of our room!
Ok it’s a long way to travel and it isn’t cheap but the time and expense was absolutely worth it!

Really beautiful resort. Incredibly polite, friendly and helpful staff. Lovely restaurants, pool and facilities. Very relaxing stay.

Very bad resort I have ever stayed in my whole life. It smells so bad. Lots of aggressive monkeys. All activities are closed at about 5-6 pm. Lots of garbage floating in the sea. Check-out time is 11 am and late checking out is not allowed. Bad management and they have little knowledge of hotel management. I do not recommend anyone to stay here.

Ocean accesable water bangalo is recommendable despite of extra cost. You can see lots of fishes, but water is not that clean.

Amazing getaway for a family or couple. The rooms are amazing and have everything you need to forget about the day to day stresses that bring you down. Relax, snorkel, swim, dive, get a massage or just do nothing at all. The MERC is also very interesting and well done. It is nice to see how they are contributing to rebuild the coral and giant clams in the area. Only downside is we travelled during offseason and the restaurants did not have all menu items available. Highly recommend to stay in the palm villa. You get access to the water directly from your room, a private plunge pool and a glass floor to watch the fishes at night and during the day.

7 on 14 check-in 7 on 16, check-out! 15, the night turned out to the room with the rats, the next with room service inform! Turned out to only get the help you temporarily change rooms, connected a sentence sorry do not get! This resort is 5 Star? Although the service in good. Something in delicious

The best Island resort and one of the part island resort inside the Gaya Island and a located at Malohom Bay.

It's a leisurely place to go boating and snorkeling, and it's a good spot for a vacation.
Evening of the wine, also is good, not disappointing. Breakfast of the meal, made of exquisite, suggest not to point too general of the Om egg Oh. Try other different kinds of meals.

Nice resort to be at. With the MERC that works on the propagation of giant clams, it will not bore your stay. Debris from mainland are often swept into the resort but management are taking measures to control this matter.

5 star resort facility people hotel.

The overall appearance is also good, the natural scenery is very beautiful. But the house price is high, the room is very old, we live in the room there are mice, with the service staff said, incredibly said already full room … The food should be collected well … In the drawer …, the toilet also has some taste, but because the reservation for two nights, the second night feel very bad (who want to live with the mouse?! ) ), but the quality of service is not good, not recommended!

Environment quiet, suitable for relaxation, water clear fish more, suggest to bring toast bread to feed, do not recommend swimming, water dirty skin allergy.

This view is vast, the sea is very beautiful, very suitable for relaxing place, the service staff is also very kind. The only drawback is that the TV channel is missing Fox Sports, or it's perfect.

Wi-Fi does not recommend deep dive $rm350, the visibility is not high, the species is not much, just snorkeling next to the restaurant, and you don't have to pay for dinner. Restaurant Ialuaru (restaurant name) service is good to have the chef recommended menu like three dishes a meal 200RM can accept the price is quite suitable to play the whole day can be set to 80RM The Left and right sea view room CP value is good.

Excellent Place to disconnect and live in symbiosis with the sea. The Palm villas are beautiful, individual swimming pool, large pontoon sheltered for breakfast or a direct dip in the sea, rest or enjoy the panorama on the deckchairs.
The staff is adorable, the kitchen very good although overpriced compared to the local restaurants of Kota Kinabalu. Fresh fish from their park possibility to go to the main island very easily (by boat).
Diving is not done on site as we imagined but diving schools come to take you directly to the resort by boat. Our dives were not extraordinary but we were not there at the best season.

Very nice establishment. Calm and restful. A real postcard. Nice pool and very good breakfasts. The accommodations with terraces direct access to the sea are really superb.

Staff have genuine hospitality not learnt from college but from the comunity tradition. On hands service and you will have a service from everyone for one request.

Came here for my engagement. Amazing service, great time. Beer is a little expensive unless you avail the happy hour offer at the bar. The massage and spa was amazing! They offer a trek up the mountain which was way more hardcore than me and my fiance imagined it to be, so be prepared for that. Ask for Peter at the front desk, he will be the utmost help!

Wonderful hotel for a relaxing break near the water. Interesting snorkeling, SPA. Very good Chinese restaurant Alu-ALU. Entertainment particularly no, this hotel for relaxation. For entertainment you can take a trip to Kota Kinabalu on a free boat.

Very good service, the restaurant of plenty is delicious. It's a pretty relaxed place.

Perfect getaway! Friendly staff, beautiful beach water, lots of fishes and corals, and of course, delicious seafoods.

Brilliant place to relax, lovely friendly staff, PADI dive instruction v good, food great, horizon pool small but perfect as there are few guests, easy access to other resort by private boat where there is a wonderful beach. Nigel J.
