Cheap hotels in Tokyo Prefecture

Great airbnb, nice and clean. Was ok for 3 adults, location was a bit far easily reachable via subways and bus.

The place is amazing for solo travelers, price is fair enough for what you get. This place is good specially if you’re going to spend the rest of the day outside and just sleep here.

The were nice and tidy and clean. Not the newest but fully sufficient for sleeping and to get a rest. The lockers are pretty small (I only had a small bag so that was ok) but not for Lager luggage.

I really enjoyed my stay. All of the employees were very nice and had no issue with checking in and checking out.

Getting here was kinda tricky. But then again, we had to drag heavy suitcases uphill in the rain. Then we found this check in window facing the street next to a laundromat.

It is about 10mnt walking from shibuya station, hachiko exit. I love the place as it is pretty quiet but there are plenty of restaurants open even at 2am.

We had a wonderful stay at this small Tokyo apartment in 2024. The space was compact but perfectly designed—clean, comfortable, and very well organised, just as you’d hope in Tokyo.

I stayed 10 nights here, honestly the room is pretty bare bones but we were just using it as a place to sleep and keep our stuff.

Really enjoyed my stay here with my fiancé. The room was clean and perfect for our 9 day vacation.

This place appears to have gotten a lot of unfairly given one star reviews, so I thought I'd give a fairer one.
The hostel is perfectly fine for the price.

I really enjoyed my time there. The location is great. There is a train station nearby. Izakayas, markets and the best miso ramen place next door. People are very nice and they own a cool bar ♥️♥️

Felt like an authentic capsule hotel experience.
Nothing fancy, but it was comfy. I got a 120cm bed on the 2nd floor.
You need to trek your bags upstairs.

I really like this place! I was a little nervous about booking a "capsule" and being confined to a small bunk bed.

Self service, read the rules and you're good to go. The best part abt it is the lounge quality despite the low cost per capsule. 3000 for one night and free Wi-Fi and free locker and free bathroom?

Stayed here for 2 weeks.
The location is great, its near Mejiro train station so you'll get anywhere you want in no time.

Bed was comfortable and clean. Good location in Shibuya. Lockers for shoes and clothing. 24h service for late check in. People were respectful and quiet when I was there.

A little walk room the station up a couple of hills and over a road bridge which did have a lift if needed.

Very cheap place to stay, nice and quiet neighborhood. The owner is a very nice man with good English vocabulary. Rooms are quite small and the amenities are also small.

As others have stated, the written rules are simply too much, No kitchen after 23:30, Quick shower, Don't jump on the 2nd floor, etc. The owner is not as bad as I thought.

Whenever I return to Japan I will definitely stay here. Staff was so helpful and friendly. Location was great with just a couple minute walk to the train station. Rooms were clean.

I quite like this hotel.
This hotel bit hard to find because it located on 2nd floor.

This place was great. It's definitely a hostel so if you're expecting something nicer or more luxury, don't.

Suitable for solo traveler and deep sleeping person. You can hear people walk around and use the toilet or bathroom. Overall the place and toilet is clean. Worth with the price.

Not bad, actually. Yeah, I know the capsule bed is that narrow, not recommended for big size person, luckily I’m a small guy. Hahaha.

My go-to hostel in Tokyo! The staff were super friendly and approachable, and most of my requests were approved.
