SPA Hotels in Kyushu

The hotel arranged a room in an annex away from the main hotel. The room has much privacy with no other room attached. I could hear the sounds of the rain and the fountain.

Words dont do this place justice.
The inn is the sister property to the ryokan next door. Both are exquisitely designed and built, both the buildings and the grounds.

Comfortable modest business hotel with good sized rooms, friendly and helpful staff (albeit with limited English) and parking out the front. Good Japanese breakfast and dinners (if ordered early).

This is a great little hotel. I could find no info in English about it, and feared the worst. However, it’s new, spotless, comfortable and rooms are spacious.

Located in the inner sanctum of Hakata, Haratsuru Onsen, along the leisurely flowing Chikugo River, Roppokan is a long-established inn founded in 1885.

This place is perfect for having your holiday. Relax and calm. I love that certain rooms it provides have a private hot spring that you can enjoy it with your loved one.

From the time we arrived, the staff were exceptionally on point with polite service, attention to details in giving you the best traditional Japanese.
Accommodation and the food was delicious.

An absolutely wonderful stay at an amazing place! The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, the food was delicious, and the hospitality was exceptional.

The hotel is a bit dated, rooms need some renovation. Futons were a bit dusty and old.
But the best parts of this hotel are staffs and the food.
— all staffs are really nice and helpful.

Great value! Hotel’s a bit old but extremely value for money. The buffet dinner had 6 types of fresh strawberries! Dinner and breakfast was great!
Good Mountain Views too.

• Room & Space.
The rooms are surprisingly spacious for a Japanese hotel. The layout is well-designed, providing plenty of room to move around comfortably.

Pros ➕
🏨 Nice room size with enough space to unpack two large suitcases.

A little up hill across Nagasaki station, close to 26 Martyrs monument and museum, restaurants and main road of streetcar and buses. Super quiet neighborhood. Bicycle rental available.

I rented an ebike to explore Nagasaki. Very friendly staff, decent bikes. I went all the way down to the Kaba Island Lighthouse and return and the battery were still at 30%.

The hotel is exceptionally well located, right next to the Chinatown area, making it very convenient for dining and sightseeing. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained.

I enjoyed Ryokan Sennari in Beppu. I had a very lovely and comfortable room with a view of a garden and an enclosed veranda where I could enjoy the breeze. The proprietors were friendly and helpful.

Me and my partner stayed here sometime earlier this year and we couldn't have asked for a better stay.

This is a newly built serviced apartment–style hotel that is exceptionally clean and well maintained.

Tucked away from the busy streets of Beppu’s city center, Hotel Beppu Pastoral offers a peaceful and immersive Japanese experience that was both relaxing and memorable.

Very friendly staff, quaint and quiet hotel. Large space and japanese style room was a good size. Hotel is a bit old, but felt clean. The bath houses are traditional japanese separated by gender/sex.

We stayed in a beautiful traditional Japanese room and enjoyed excellent kaiseki dinner. The private onsens are a highlight – two of them can be used almost 24 hours a day.

Excellent ryokan to stay and enjoy private onsen bath. The ryokan is super clean, neat and tidy. Dinner and breakfast meals were excellent and delicious. Staffs are super friendly.

Amazing hotel attentive to detail and the service is beyond expectations. They over three of four onsen experiences to choose from free of charge. Two outdoor onsen also comes with sauna.

Would I visit again? YES! Absolutely amazing experience. A small traditional hotel putting a lot of emphasis on detail and customers needs.

This was ryokan was the highlight of my family vacation. I brought my parents here for two nights at the King Suite. The entire space was gorgeous inside and out.

I want to give a five-star review because I recently stayed here and had a wonderful experience.

Close to the bus terminal. Enjoyed the two outdoor baths and the kids' pool. We reserved a Japanese-style room where they provide turndown service and meals on our schedule.

I stayed at this hotel and was truly impressed.

Stayed for one night during the beautiful sakura season in early April.

Takasou…
It's a nice experience.
Some people don't like to traditional things.
Other people like those like me.
It's a so nice with classic facilities.
Master and staff are so kind.

Not far from the station but if you have big luggage you have to drag it uphill a little bit 🥹. The street in Yufuin in the evening is very quiet and dark so recommend to get back to the place not

A pleasant little house, run by a kind lady and her cat.
