Definitely an older building but it’s relatively clean aside from the mold that I noticed around the shower mirror. I’d say the location was good.

This traditional ryokan truly hit all our expectations. The old-style architecture is full of character, yet everything was very clean and well maintained.

I recently stayed at Hizenya Tsuetate Kanko Hotel and had a pleasant experience overall. Prior to booking, I had read several reviews mentioning that the hotel was old, which made me a bit concerned.

A very enjoyable hot spring experience, complete with a bowling alley and arcade for the kids. Great all you can eat buffet for dinner and breakfast.

This is a beautiful hotel located within a short walking distance to all of the main attractions of Yufuin.

This is the first time to visit the Fukuoka, and this hotel is the first hotel after landing. We lend the car and drive there from the Fukuoka airport.

Overall it is excellent. The food is decent, the coffee good, albeit a bit pricey. The onsen is small, basically your own use mainly since it is not busy. It is hot. The sauna is good.

The taiwanese reception staff, mei yu is such a dear.

I usually don’t write review but this hotel deserve all the praise. We had such a wonderful experience staying here for one night and celebrated our son's 2nd birthday.

We stayed at the Annex building so we had the whole unit for ourselves as well as a private onsen on site. Therefore, this review is for that particular booking.

Wonderful experience in Yufuin.
Room is spacious. You may use many facilities while your stay, including private hot spring (reservation is required). Food is yummy.

All the staff is very friendly, and the amenities are also very good. Very cozy environment, excellent food and very good onsen.

I came for the Onsen and Massage. It was great and convenient, but be warned that tattoos are not allowed.

That's a very scenic place. The whole area is plastered with japanese decor details and 'easter-eggs' of small animals. Our room had a private indoor and outdoor onsen with real hot-spring water.

Our flight was delayed and we had a long day in the airport, so we’re late for the dinner.

Booked one night onsen experience with Teppanyaki wagyu dinner and traditional Japanese breakfast in May and the experience was just simply wonderful.

Fukudaya is located about 10 minutes walk from the main onsen street. But the Tourists Information Center is right across the road. It is a historical building with an addition of new wing building.

I’ve had a great time in this ryokan and enjoyed my stay. The food was absolutely delicious with good service, it actually exceeded my expectations, especially with the sashimis and steak.

Great location. Conveniently located in the vicinity of Hakata Bus, Train, and Subway station, and it's on the quiter side.

We had an amazing experience with this hotel. Not only was everything clean, and orderly, but the service they offered was overwhelmingly pleasant.

The hotel is exceptionally well located, right next to the Chinatown area, making it very convenient for dining and sightseeing. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained.

This place is quiet and relaxing but it is 21 mins away by foot from the next bus stop to town. However, you can ask front desk to pick you up and drop you off beppu station upon arrival/departure.

Tucked away from the busy streets of Beppu’s city center, Hotel Beppu Pastoral offers a peaceful and immersive Japanese experience that was both relaxing and memorable.

Very friendly staff, quaint and quiet hotel. Large space and japanese style room was a good size. Hotel is a bit old, but felt clean. The bath houses are traditional japanese separated by gender/sex.

The hotel is very well located in the heart of Beppu.

I stayed here for two nights. The location is excellent, situated next to the Tokiwa Department Store, Yume Town, and the Oita Bus Station—very convenient.

Amazing hotel attentive to detail and the service is beyond expectations. They over three of four onsen experiences to choose from free of charge. Two outdoor onsen also comes with sauna.

The hotel is close to Saga Station. The room is clean and offers free breakfast. Although it's free, the food is delicious. Coffee and tea are provided at any time.
