Kumamoto Hotels

We had a private onsen in our room and it was clean and comfortable. We also tried the public open air baths and they were good as well.
Food was so delicious.

I think is one of the most pleasant hotel experiences I have ever had.

I had a great stay at The Blossom Kumamoto with my friend! Will highly recommend this to travellers to the city.

Room is excellent: Huge room with sleeping and bathroom areas totally separated. Huge windows on two sides overlooking distant hills and closer-by lower buildings.

We are a group of five staying from 15 to 17 February 26. The rooms we stayed are Japanese style, very comfortable and nice.

The room a got did not have a nice view (I was aware of that) but some room have nice view. As a foreigner the Japanese hospitality on that ryokan was above all expectations.

I only visited for onsen hopping and I think it was one of my favorite.
Next time I come to Kurokawa I will seriously think of staying there.

This hotel is located out of nowhere but I am surprised that there were quite a few overseas tourists like us.

Excellent location with a buffet breakfast you will love. This hotel is comfortable as it is convenient. Located at the entrance of a shopping arcade, it’s incredibly easy to get around by foot.

The best hotel we stayed at during our whole Japan trip in Kyushu. The room is very spacious, we had a great view of the castle and the reception were very welcoming.

Kind staff, clean and comfortable accommodation for a great price. I had a great view of Kumamoto castle from my room. The rooftop terrace was lovely to watch the sun set behind the castle grounds.

We were in kumamoto visiting all One Piece statue and booked this place for our stay which was peefect for the location.

Off the beaten path. Skip lunch coming to this place as you'll enjoy Japanese dinner (may wish to skip the horse sashimi if you haven't had it) as there are plenty of other food to enjoy.

There are no words to accurately express how wonderful this ryokan is. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms comfortably appointed, the private onsens perfection, and the food and service spectacular.

We had a really enjoyable stay at Angelica Lodge. The whole premise was immaculately clean.

One of the best ryokan experiences we’ve had across a myriad of ryokans we stayed at in Kyushu (including some way pricier big chains).

Nice place to stay around Mt Aso. We wanted to get to the hikes first thing in the morning and the location of this inn is well positioned for that.
It was very peaceful here.

You can’t beat Dormy Inn when it comes to location — next to the bus terminus and Sakura Machi mall. Rooms are Japan sized but clean and fresh. Buffet breakfast was tasty and had a good variety.

A very elegant and nice clean hotel with helpful staff. You wake up with a stunning view!
It is a hidden gem in Aso.

Did a horse back ride only. Took the 30 minute trail which was interesting. Very friendly personnel and well trained horses that you get to control on your own.

Our stay here was so amazing! The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the food was delicious with great service.

We initially picked Ichinoi because it’s fully tattoo-friendly, which is rare amongst the 30 ryokan in Kurokawa Onsen. We stayed one night just before Christmas.

Day trip. Location is out of the way, but that just means its quiet.
They have 2 baths for females. 1 standing and 1 sitting (w/ a small cave).

Room was clean and spacious with two in-room onsen.
Staff were very kind and helpful, especially the female staff serving us. We try to talk a lot in Japanese. She was amazing.
