It’s a gem for me. I wished I could book a longer stay. It’s definitely a place to get you recovered from the busy days and all the tiredness.

New and modern hotel with spacious rooms. There’s also several onsen options with both indoor and outdoor selections. The breakfast is superb with a good selection of Japanese cuisines.

This hotel was great! The rooms were huge for japanese standards, we had a couch which was very comfortable in the evening to relax.

We stayed in the room with the private open-air bath and it was really great! If we ever come back to Nagasaki, we will definitely book this room and hotel again!

Beppu was one highlight of our trip to Japan. I say “one”, as there were many. And while we did not do too much in Beppu itself, we used it as a base to get to interesting areas around Beppu.

I'm giving this place 5 stars just because the hotel itself is amazing. You are staying in a giant work of art and the rooms are great. The staff is friendly and very helpful also.

Amanek Beppu lived to the expectations and I had such a comfortable stay that I’ll want to visit Beppu again! The hotel is a short walk from Beppu station and the rooms are clean and bright.

Staying at AMANEK BEPPU YULA-RE was a wonderful experience. The location is perfect as it is very close to the station, making it easy to get around.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this ryokan. From check-in to check-out, the host was nothing but kind, welcoming, and incredibly helpful, which made our experience even more special.

Not far from the station but if you have big luggage you have to drag it uphill a little bit 🥹. The street in Yufuin in the evening is very quiet and dark so recommend to get back to the place not

1) Location is a little hard to find if you reach in the night and if you are driving. Made 2 rounds before we managed to figure out the path that leads to the house.

We had an amazing experience at 竹屋! The location couldn't be better – literally steps from Yufuin station, and there's a charming 'secret path' connecting it directly.

Small kitchen with limited features. I was attracted to it because of the view.

Super friendly staff and amazing location. My only complaint was the bed and super hard pillows. It comes down to personal preference but some options would be appreciated. Otherwise an amazing stay.

I splurged out on the deluxe room at Oita Kuoritei for a couple of nights to explore the region and was very pleased with the property.

Remote, family run, beautiful, lovingly run. Secluded. We were easily able to use local bus to get to and from Fukuokua. But need to be willing to walk.

Had an amazing stay at Gekkoju. The property is beautiful and very well maintained. We stayed in the Yumemi room, which had a private outdoor onsen with a view of the sunset!

During our Kyushu trip, we spent one night at the Sheraton Ocean Grande Resort which we booked using points on the Marriott website.

Perfectly comfortable and adequate hotel. The staff members are well-trained, polite, and helpful. The facilities are generally clean and well-kept.

We partly chose the Richmond Hotel because it had a parking lot. But in the end if offered so much more.

With a friendly check — in, I was given room 812, a double bed with a nice view to the south. The room was basic Japanese business hotel style, nicely done and very clean.
