— location is very good in Tenjin. Close to Tenjin station.

This review details our experience staying at the Quintessa Hotel in Fukuoka, a hotel with a unique comic book theme.

The rooms are ok, the food is ok, the service is good, breakfast has to be paid extra. There is a smoothie coupon. Located in the heart of the city, convenient to travel, close to food, overall good.

Delicious breakfast. And healthy. Unfortunately no Japanese style food.
Room clean, small and the bed is not that confortable. Other than that we had a greay stay.

I would definitely recommend it. Well located, close to Watanabe metro station, and a lots of restaurants in the area, very welcoming staff.

4.6 rating is a little high. Ray, the receptionist is SO cool. He provides exemplary service. There are body odor smells in the room. Gross. There are no paper towels.

The receptionists are out of this world.
They go miles to please their guests.

Really enjoyed our stay at hotel Relief Kokura. The room was big enough for two and the facilities were all very nice. Thought the bed was also very comfortable.

Very clean, very cozy, very friendly staff, close to Aso station, restaurants, convenience store and onsen, I couldn't recommend it more! There is a shared kitchen, a coin washing machine available.

Wonderful little lodge at the foot of mt. Aso, a 5 minute walk form Aso station.
The rooms and facilities are very clean (almost compulsively so) and well-maintained.

The ryokan itself is truly beautiful, elegant, peaceful, and full of charm.

5* for the service and incredible food. The old ladies hosting at this ryokan are so polite and so welcoming that felt like being in a Japanese movie.

We stayed for two nights at Koto Tea House. The hosts were lovely and forthcoming. The bedroom was spaceous and clean.

Highlights of this beautiful home stay are definitely the traditional Japanese interior plus the authentic Japanese breakfast as well as the possibility to do a real tea ceremony!

This review pertains to the onsen, accessible with an onsen pass. I arrived on foot from Kurokawa, a pleasant thirty-minute walk.

This is a quick review of our stay at the end of Nov 2025.
Room: a little bit dated but clean.

The hotel arranged a room in an annex away from the main hotel. The room has much privacy with no other room attached. I could hear the sounds of the rain and the fountain.

Words dont do this place justice.
The inn is the sister property to the ryokan next door. Both are exquisitely designed and built, both the buildings and the grounds.

We stayed several days at this hostel with my husband and had a wonderful experience. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, the room was spotless, and the breakfast was delicious.

The room was just as you'd expect from a Route Inn, but the natural hot spring and the spacious, relaxing manga corner were plus points.

Free drinks, soup and alcohol in the lobby for self service. And free public onsen (for those who can't handle high temperatures it may be too hot as I couldn't haha).

The hotel is located in the middle of the downtown area, so I think it's very convenient.

Comfortable modest business hotel with good sized rooms, friendly and helpful staff (albeit with limited English) and parking out the front. Good Japanese breakfast and dinners (if ordered early).

This is a great little hotel. I could find no info in English about it, and feared the worst. However, it’s new, spotless, comfortable and rooms are spacious.

We were well taken care of here! I arrived late at night with my friend and we were helped by friendly and amazing staff member, Sumisu Kumar.

In here you can see sunrise. Dinner is great. The onsen is also good. I will recommend if you have a car. The only thing is that hotel accepts group of tourists it may get crowded.

The rooms, shower rooms, etc. Are well-cleaned.

They are a highly professional establishment with very kind staff. The staff do not speak English very well, but I would never take off stars for that reason.

20 minutes motorbike ride from Fukuoka through valleys and hills of beautiful colours and breathtaking scenery. Tattoo friendly.

Nice place to stay for glamping in Kumamoto. The owners are friendly and helpful. Mostly families staying at the site as well.

The service is very good with all you can drink vegetables, rice, and soft drinks.

This was our first stay at a traditional Japanese ryokan, and even though we only speak a little Japanese, the staff were so kind, accommodating, and able to communicate with us in English.

First of all, the floor was hardwood, which was really comfortable. The food was one of the best I've ever eaten.

Nothing will beat Alphabed Inn for its location. Being located along the airport line is already a perk. You can walk south to Ohori Park, north to Nishi Park for the famous Imaya hamburger.

This was mine and my husband’s first time staying at an establishment that did not have staff at the front desk so you gotta make sure that you check for your code to check in and a code for the gate

The rooms were clean and enjoyable. The bathroom was modern. Space under the bed which I really appreciated for suitcases! Cleaning daily which is a postive. Laundry machines worked well.

I don’t know why reviews here are so messy. It’s a definitely good hotel at a reasonable price. Hoteliers seem very professional. They are fluent in English and well-mannered.

Stayed for one night only. Bedroom was satisfactory. Hotel is about 3min walk from train station, some paths can get quite dark at night but we still felt very safe walking around.

I used this hotel for sightseeing.
It was very convenient because it was close to Yakuin station. The room was larger than I had imagined and I was satisfied.

The EN HOTEL is a great option for travelers who want to be situated in the center of everything Fukuoka has to offer.

I really enjoyed my stay at this place and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The accommodation is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained.

Stayed at the Guesthouse CAMP for one night with a friend and it was so great! The host was very welcoming and helpful while checking-in, and gave recommendations for dinner.
