You can’t beat Dormy Inn when it comes to location — next to the bus terminus and Sakura Machi mall. Rooms are Japan sized but clean and fresh. Buffet breakfast was tasty and had a good variety.

Excellent breakfast well worth the extra fee. Rooms were typical Japanese size, ie, small but clean and well-serviced.

Day trip. Location is out of the way, but that just means its quiet.
They have 2 baths for females. 1 standing and 1 sitting (w/ a small cave).

Room was clean and spacious with two in-room onsen.
Staff were very kind and helpful, especially the female staff serving us. We try to talk a lot in Japanese. She was amazing.
Food was incredible.

I’m not sure why this hotel is considered only a 3 star hotel on Google. Maybe they don’t offer 5 star services like a concierge staff but the hotel itself is as the level of a Japanese 5 star hotel.

I always enjoy a stay in this chain of hotels, and a bonus this time was I could see the volcano from my room and I had a seat by the window too. Always comfortable and clean, friendly staff.

Rooms are reasonably sized, bathrooms are spacious and efficient. Plenty of amenities and more offerings in the lobby if you forget anything.

Well maintain and located hotel that is clean and accessible to all. Rooms are well laid out and equipped with heater, aircon and air purifier, kitchen amenities are sufficient. Great service too.

Service generally v good except for the rude guy on my third morning, his communication skill can be improved to convey a message tactfully.

Not sure there's much "premium" about this hotel. The rooms and furniture exhibit signs of aging, despite being quite comfy.

Great breakfast with enormous food selection. Great baths (3pm-10am) with sauna room. Great location — above subway — 29 minute walk to sumo. Yukata and slippers provided.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They went above and beyond to accommodate us while traveling with small children. It was also very convenient to have a kitchen in the room.

Lovely stay. I stayed for 1 night but wish it was longer. Spacious, comfortable apartments with use of laundry, separated toliet and shower, and air conditioning. Extremely clean.

Very good location connected to the train station. The bed was on the harder side, including the pillow.

Probably the best hotel I've stayed at in Japan, and I've stayed on several hotels from Sapporo to Fukuoka over the last 6 trips here. The room was spacious for Japan standards. Climate control works.

Stayed here in December. This hotel was nice and clean. Rooms are a bit small, but nothing that's not expected in Japan. Washer and dryer provided in the room.

We lived in here 3 nights. The room is very clean and all staffs are so kindly. This hotel also near the subway entrance It’s so convenient. Highly recommend for everyone.

Service is excellent, staff could speak English which made questions easier, food was excellent. The cheesecake was superb. Melts in your mouth. The lunch set (Prefix Course) was good value.

Wonderful hotel, absolutely spotless and the room was so large! We had a lovely balcony overlooking the pool. The hotel is also super close to Hakata station so a great location for any day trips.

ROOMS: spacious and clean, not extremely spacious but convenient. Beds with different type of mattresses — one is harder than another but pillows are comfortable.

Location was excellent—near transportation and shopping. Staff went above and beyond, helping us track down our daughter’s phone (left in a cab! ) Buffet breakfast offered many tasty options.

Hotel is conveniently located next to Oita Station and Amu shopping plaza. Plenty of restaurants, cafe, retail and convenience stores around the area.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Beppu Daiiti hotel a couple of weeks ago. The staff were very nice — both receptionists and the kitchen staff at breakfast time.

The staff are kind and smart in dealing. I thank them very much, especially those who work at night. Their response is quick and efficient.

The rooms were very spacious and the outdoor bath had a great view. The food at dinner and breakfast was well proportioned.

Our stay at Hanayoshi Onsen Hotel was fantastic. The room was a top-notch Japanese-style suite, beautifully designed and equipped with everything you could possibly need.

Our stay at Mrs. Hanneke’s guesthouse was simply wonderful. From the very first moment, her warmth and genuine hospitality made us feel completely at home.

Hannake provides a lovely and clean place, making us feel like home. The location is in the middle of the small old town. In 5-7 minutes of walking distance, there are 4 different tasty foods.

Hotel CULTIA Dazaifu is an undeniably charming property — aesthetically thoughtful, historically immersive, and ideally situated in the heart of Dazaifu.

Love this place. Stayed in at the main building which is right in front of the temple and in the evening and early mornings the entire neighborhood is super quiet free of the daytime tourists!

It might be the best choice among the hotels in Hitakatsu in terms of the quality of service, rooms, amenities and the view.

Good location close to the centre, and I could check-in when I arrived 10 mins early.
Was given 11th floor room, but zero view just a blank wall opposite.
