Fantastic stay. I traveled solo and had zero issues although I mainly speak English. Service, food, and location were perfect.

Great ryokan. They were able to accommodate my request for a gluten free meal, which is rare in japan. The staff speaks some english and is very service oriented!

This super nice ryokan is located about 45 minutes by bus from Kumamoto Station, nestled in the peaceful countryside. The area is quiet and scenic — perfect for a relaxing getaway.

Great location near the Kagoshima-Chuo train station.
My husband and I stayed in the comfortable, seventh-floor, twin room for 5 nights.

Good simple hotel, ~15 minutes walk east from Kagoshima Chuo station. Generally clean and well presented, and good to have a washing machine in the room.

I stayed at the Lamp Light Books Hotel in Fukuoka for 3 days, and they were wonderful.
My wife and I managed to fit the two of us and lots of luggage into one room, albeit it was a bit of a squeeze.

Great location, helpful staff, and a quiet atmosphere. The mattress was comfortable, and the bathroom was excellent overall, although there was a slight odour when using the toilet.

Best stay in any of my travels. Craft sake brewery nearby. Quiet residential area. Great service. Modern an beautiful layout. Great breakfast. Sauna was a great amenity. Dyson hairdryers.

Strategic location right inside solaria plaza. Also near metro and quite central in Tenjin. Walking distance to underground mall and nearby malls. Convenience stall family mart is also located nearby.

I love the fact that they are ecofriendly and sustainable hotel. Each floor has a drinking water refilling station, ice machine and a smoking room.

The room was quite good and we loved the room. As it’s already winter they only had the heater turned on. It is better if we can change it by over-selves as some times we felt kinda warm inside.

Near 2 subway stations — just 5 minutes walk. You can check in 2pm onwards, they have a check in machine so it’s very convenient. The room is clean and comfortable. You can have it cleaned everyday.

Writing this review because this hotel deserves it! If you are travelling with family this is the best hotel. Our room we booked is with kitchen with complete utensils and cookingwares.

A short 10 min walk from hakata station, easy to find. Helpful staff and spacious common space. Female dormitories were comfortable.

We had a great stay at this hostel! The amenities are really convenient—there’s a laundry area and even a space in the lobby where you can cook, which is perfect for longer stays.

Stayed in a standard double room for 3 nights in Richmond Hotel Hakata Ekimae.
The hotel is about 5min walk from Hakata station, chikushi exit.

Slightly small/dated room that serves its purpose.
Location is excellent, directly next to Yodabashi/Lopia and Hakata Satation. 3 min walk to airport shuttle bus station.

Super yummy breakfast that light-up our day. Big, trendy & clean rooms, also clean public hot bath.
The drawback is remote location. Surrounded by container terminals & warehouses.

New and modern hotel with spacious rooms. There’s also several onsen options with both indoor and outdoor selections. The breakfast is superb with a good selection of Japanese cuisines.

Lovely spacious rooms with great amenities, e. G. Washer/dryer with free detergent, and probably the cleanest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. It was genuinely spotless and everything looked brand new.

I’ve not yet checked out but thought to leave this review before I do because this is honestly the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at in Japan, and I’ve been here multiple times.

Booked a 3 pax room for a relative cheap price during the golden week. The room layout is 2 bed and 1 sofa bed. The sofa bed was relatively long and width is wide enough for me a 165cm and 60kg guy.

This hotel was great! The rooms were huge for japanese standards, we had a couch which was very comfortable in the evening to relax.

I really liked this place. Everything was nice, cozy and very clean.
The staff was very welcoming, the futon bed was comfortable, the onsen was nice and relaxing for the evening.

Beautiful and clean room. On the pricier side but definitely worth it. We stayed at room type J. Fully recharged and rested. The breakfast was excellent and served in individual portions/dishes.

A lovely oceanside onset in Beppu. The view of the room is magnificent, I could witness the moon rising over the pelagic horizon as I dip myself in my personal hot water tub.

We only stayed in the hotel one night unfortunately it’s the best hotel we have stayed in this trip so far.

What a place. Location amazing, a few min from the station where you can get anywhere.
You can also walk to the cultural center two block down towards the sea.

Got a chance to stay here for 2 nights in April 2026. The hotel is kind of far from the city center so having a rental car in my opinion is a must (there is parking).

Beppu was one highlight of our trip to Japan. I say “one”, as there were many. And while we did not do too much in Beppu itself, we used it as a base to get to interesting areas around Beppu.

This is a beautiful, glamping resort that is somewhat near Yufuin town/floral village but far enough to be remote and peaceful.

I had a wonderful experience during my stay at the hotel. The staff were exceptionally nice, caring, and always ready to help with any requests. The view from my room was fantastic.
