Hotels in Kyoto with Parking near Mikane Shrine

Wonderful experience staying at Watazen Ryokan right from the second we stepped into the place the staff were super welcoming and the breakfast was simply amazing!

Interesting experience in the heart of Kyoto. Incredible location that makes you feel like you can go anywhere and see anything.

Very clean and modern looking rooms. The staff is really polite and they offer a lot of additional free benefits.
You get a bunch of value for the price. Can't recommend ot enough.

This hotel was absolutely wonderful! The room was spacious and the futon beds were incredibly comfortable. I also want to give a huge shoutout to the staff, who were so helpful!

It was an interesting experience. For reference I’ve only stayed at one capsule hotel before.

The facility is so clean, well maintained, friendly staffs, the breakfast is very good, unlimited rice and toppings are plus points.

Location, comfortable rooms, close to great Izakaya, bakeries, restaurants, parks and palaces, Kyoto Four Sisters Residence is the place to be.
We did a driving trip, travelling as a family of three

What an enjoyable stay. Before our stay all stay details and cost information was provided so there was little confusion on checkin.

A lovely family run ryokan. Very friendly and accommodating owners, they speak good English and are very attentive.

This is the place to stay. The staff are amazing! The location is perfect. A quick walk to anything you need on your trip. Rooms are cozy and clean.

Rooms.

Have just spent several nights here and after roughly a month of travel the ability to self cater and eat simple foods can not be understated.

My wife and I stayed one night at Nazuna Kyoto Gosho as part of our honeymoon. This was both of our first time in Japan, so we were not sure what to expect.

This was a lovely stay compared to the western hotels we enjoyed throughout the rest of the trip.

We stayed at Courtyard by Marriott, Kyoto for six days, after some early reluctance, and were not disappointed.

We stayed here for 4 nights. It’s located in a pretty convenient area — just steps from a subway station and maybe 10 mins to the shopping area and Nishiki Market. Lots of good restaurants nearby.

This hotel was located a 20 minute walk from the main Kyoto station…. Temples and viewing tower. Approximately 10 minutes to the main town — Gion region and old town (beautiful).

Room was comfortable, clean and inviting. The view of the skyline was enjoyable. Walkable everywhere we wanted to go and very close to the local train station.

We had a lovely stay at Matsui Honkan in a Japanese style room. There was plenty of space for the family (4 of us) and the Japanese breakfasts served in the room were very good.

We really enjoyed our stay at Matsui Honkan. We stayed in a traditional room, which was very spacious and quiet.

Great cosy place, washing machine, small hot plate, etc.
Minor point is location from Kyoto station but near other tourist locations (markets, etc. ), luggage on second floor is a bit painful.

What a gem of a place! Although we arrived earlier than planned the check in staff kindly held our bags while we strolled around the area.

In agreement with all the previous reviews: a quiet and delightful place, simple, beautiful.

This was, without a doubt, the best hotel experience we have ever had. From the moment we arrived, our host went above and beyond to make our stay in Kyoto unforgettable.

The good: very friendly staff, options to have more pillows, an iron, electricity plug converters, etc. Great coffee and nice toiletry selection. Modern-looking and comfortable rooms.

Stayed 3 nights in the Moderate Double Room.
CHECK-IN.
Smooth, nothing much to comment. Agoda stated guests would be charged at check-in for the city tax.

Our experience was simply wonderful.

Our stay at Matsui Bekkan Hanakanzashi exceeded expectations. The room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully traditional while still offering modern comfort.

Traditional room and experience. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. The traditional breakfast was amazing — tip: order less than you would otherwise because it is a lot of food.

You get what you pay for considering the look and the bathrooms in the rooms.

This is my personal opinion. Food is amazing. Room is a little worn down and definitely showing age. Location is amazing. You are a short walk from a major shopping hub.

We loved our stay here. Location was fantastic with easy access to transport, the best food in Japan and great atmosphere without being too busy. The apartment was perfect and clean.

Perfect location, 5 minutes to the subway or a bus to anywhere, lots of sites walkable in 15-40 mins, lovely coffee shop around the corner.

Great place for two people. Walkable distance from 2 train stations. Self-check-in process is very easy and well explained. It's like a mini puzzle game.

Perfect for two people. We enjoyed our stay for four nights. The shared washing machine and microwave allowed us to not have to go out for breakfast restaurant.

I had a last minute change in my schedule so I stayed here one night on a whim as a solo traveller just for a traditional Japanese room.

We had an amazing stay at Ryokan Kohro.

10 mins walk to Omiya train station. Pharmacy, restaurant, bus stop, convenience store are nearby the hotel.
However, this location is far from the happening area in kyoto.

I stayed at Urban Hotel Kyoto Shijo Premium for two nights and had a really enjoyable experience.
