Hotels in Kyoto with Breakfast near Mikane Shrine

Great location we are love that it in more quiet areas but not too far to walk to the sightseeing areas we only have to catch taxi once and it was easy to walk and catch train to other part of town,

My only regret — the stay was too short. The moment you walked into this hotel, you were greeted by friendly staffs. No self check-in, which is a rare find these days.

Wonderful experience staying at Watazen Ryokan right from the second we stepped into the place the staff were super welcoming and the breakfast was simply amazing!

Interesting experience in the heart of Kyoto. Incredible location that makes you feel like you can go anywhere and see anything.

A lovely hotel with a nice lounge that has everything you need to relax. There are some activities throughout the day but we never made it to any.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location was good, with a fantastic supermarket next door.

Very clean and modern looking rooms. The staff is really polite and they offer a lot of additional free benefits.
You get a bunch of value for the price. Can't recommend ot enough.

This hotel was absolutely wonderful! The room was spacious and the futon beds were incredibly comfortable. I also want to give a huge shoutout to the staff, who were so helpful!

Great location in the heart of Kyoto. Few minutes walk to a karasuma station and a few bus stops. Just round the corner from Kyoto’s main shopping strip, major department stores and endless shops.

The hotel is in an excellent location with 2 train stations and plenty of shops and restaurants close by.
Our superior double room was quite small with a small table with 2 chairs, desk area, small

Amazing hotel with lots of updated rooms and showers. Easy access to lobby and rooms with great amenities. Very clean atmosphere and friendly service!
Very clean rooms and bathrooms!

I was very happy with my stay here. Kyoto was towards the end of my trip and throughout the past two weeks I’ve gotten very used to tiny hotel rooms, with tiny bathroom and showers.

We loved this hotel! Our space was small as expected for Japan but also perfect for two people. The facilities were clean and comfortable.

I found the bed really comfy here! Room sizes are Japanese-style ie quite small for westerners, but totally adequate. The charging ports in the room by the beds are a nice touch.

Kyoto Shijo Takakura Hotel Grandereverie is a charming boutique hotel that delivers a more personal and spacious experience.

What a lovely hotel!
The design is great, rooms are spacious, well equipped and very clean.
Location is awesome, close to the center.

This is a great location if you want to get away but still be close to the action.

We had a lovely 2 night stay. The location is fantastic, close to restaurants the nishiki markets and all public transport. The rooms are large clean and comfortable.

Good location. Good facilities. The lounge has a coffee machine which is very nice. My room was wide enough that I can manage my things and I can store my luggage outside in a compartment.

I used this hotel as a place to stay on a business trip.
Here is a Capsule hotel, so the private space is small. But there are rest space on the first floor and I could have some snacks and drinks.

The room was quite spacious for Kyoto and had a very good shower. We were fine; the only downside was that it was far from everything—central in the city, but away from the main attractions.

Beautiful traditional Japanese style hotel with a garden view in the middle of the room. We stayed for 4 people and the room was huge and spacious with 4 very comfortable beds.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hiramatsu. The staff were amazing and incredibly accommodating. The rooms were phenomenal — roomy and with the best beds we had during our visit to Japan.

We loved the interior design throughout the hotel. The room is spacious and very quiet that we barely hear anything.

We stayed at this hotel for six days and had a very pleasant experience overall. The room was spacious, well-maintained, and exceptionally clean.

A pretty good hotel. What I liked the best was a common room on the second floor for relaxing and eating if you chose to get some pickup food at the many convenience stores in the area.

The exact ryokan experience we were hoping to get in Kyoto. Beautiful, traditional building and rooms, absolutely incredible Japanese breakfast each morning, and comfortable futons.

I stayed in the single room at Inn Kawashima for 7 nights. It’s a quiet place to rest and recharge after going out for the day.

A lovely family run ryokan. Very friendly and accommodating owners, they speak good English and are very attentive.

This is the place to stay. The staff are amazing! The location is perfect. A quick walk to anything you need on your trip. Rooms are cozy and clean.

My wife and I stayed one night at Nazuna Kyoto Gosho as part of our honeymoon. This was both of our first time in Japan, so we were not sure what to expect.

This was a lovely stay compared to the western hotels we enjoyed throughout the rest of the trip.

This hotel was located a 20 minute walk from the main Kyoto station…. Temples and viewing tower. Approximately 10 minutes to the main town — Gion region and old town (beautiful).

Room was comfortable, clean and inviting. The view of the skyline was enjoyable. Walkable everywhere we wanted to go and very close to the local train station.

We had a lovely stay at Matsui Honkan in a Japanese style room. There was plenty of space for the family (4 of us) and the Japanese breakfasts served in the room were very good.

We really enjoyed our stay at Matsui Honkan. We stayed in a traditional room, which was very spacious and quiet.

An amazing experience. The host is fantastic. Unfortunately, 5 stars is the maximum available notation but the place definitely deserves more.

Toni is an incredible host with excellent recommendations for the surrounding city of Kyoto. Kokonoe Machiya is a very beautifully restored Ryokan with gorgeous attention to detail.

This was everything we could have hoped for and more. A perfectly picturesque place to stay that hit every mark for us. Traditional, yet modern. Cozy, but never cramped.

One of the best stay in kyoto and I would suggest to splurge little bit and book this hotel, I dont even know where to start but it was very different experience over all and I must recommend it to

The good: very friendly staff, options to have more pillows, an iron, electricity plug converters, etc. Great coffee and nice toiletry selection. Modern-looking and comfortable rooms.

Stayed 3 nights in the Moderate Double Room.
CHECK-IN.
Smooth, nothing much to comment. Agoda stated guests would be charged at check-in for the city tax.

Our experience was simply wonderful.

Our stay at Matsui Bekkan Hanakanzashi exceeded expectations. The room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully traditional while still offering modern comfort.

Traditional room and experience. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. The traditional breakfast was amazing — tip: order less than you would otherwise because it is a lot of food.

You get what you pay for considering the look and the bathrooms in the rooms.

My mom and I booked this place through Airbnb. Very convenient near several bus stops, quiet area but still close to shops like 711 and other small restaurants.

This is kind of an hostel-guesthouse with a lot of rooms split on 3 floors, so it can get a bit busy at time.
