Our stay at the Park Hyatt Kyoto was, quite simply, the pinnacle of hospitality.

Our stay at Park Hyatt Kyoto was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the service was flawless, thoughtful, and truly world-class.

Stayed here on our recent trip to Kyoto and took the suite with the private sauna and large soaking tub. It was wonderful, private, quiet, and spacious.

This is my second time staying at Gion Elite Terrace. First time with a group of friends and, recently, my mother.

We stayed here in 2023 and my husband and I still find ourselves reminiscing about it. It was such a beautiful hotel and an unforgettable experience.

Having access to the Executive Lounge both before check-in and after check-out truly elevated the overall stay.

I don’t normally write reviews. However I had to — for this fabulous hotel. I simply cannot fathom the bad reviews. I booked, was then apprehensive when I read some negative reviews.

The highlight of 2.5 weeks in Japan. From start to finish, very welcoming staff. Room 209 was spacious and just modern enough. Highlight was the bathroom with shower and soaking tub.

Stayed here back in February for one night and it was a phenomenal stay.

Every morning you can go to see the Buddhist ceremony which I recommend to do at least once.

Where to begin, they're part of the Banyan group so you expect a level of service and luxury and Dhawa Yura did not disappoint.

Highly recommend staying at this hotel if you want a higher end experience. The rooms were very generously sized for Japan travel and the amenities were top-notch!

We had a beautiful stay at The Celestine Kyoto Gion.

The rooms are great fabulous size for Japan. Has a shower and bath in a room with hanging space for your washing as there is a washer dryer.

For a 3 Star hotel, this place definitely exceeded our expectations! The amenities are all well stocked. The room is spacious with 4 super single beds.

We loved our stay at Yasaka Yutone. The room was comfortable and spacious. The cypress bath was lovely for a relaxing soak.

Amazing location to stay in traditional Kyoto. This Ryokan has a bit more luxury than the traditional ones and we had a lovely stay.

Amazing Ryokan in Gion. Walking distance to the big tourist spots in the area, as well as restaurants closer to the river. Backs up to a beautiful park as well.

Hotel Yuraku Kyoyasaka is a amazing ryokan!
Upon arrival, the check in staff were very helpful and informative. She explained everything we needed for our visit.

The Gion District is beautiful and quiet, and this hotel is a short walk from some of the main tourist attractions!

Great location, right next to the Gion district and close to a few temples, that made it easy for us to walk. Rooms were clean and as well spacious. One of the better hotels I stayed at in Japan.

Stayed for six nights at the RC Hotel in Kyoto in January and we had a very nice and comfortable stay here.
Getting there from Kyoto station took around 15-20 minutes by bus and foot.

HIDDEN GEM! The layout gives you that Japanese feeling. Bed is on the floor just like they do it. We absolutely loved it.
You are dead smack in the middle of the action during the day.

The rooms are nice and big for sure, check out at 10 and additional fees for every minute longer is not ok for such class of hotel.

Quiet, spacious, location is great! This has been a wonderful hotel stay and I look forward to returning.

We had a wonderful stay at Terrace Kiyomizu during our trip to Kyoto. We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights.

Great hotel near many attractions, restaurants and bus lines. Staff is very nice and attentive. The room is spacious and clean.

Perfect location in the heart of Kiyomizudera, just one street away from the crowded tourist area. Easy walk to Sannenzaka, Ninenzaka, Gion, and other spots.
