Matera Hotels

Absolutely the BEST Casa Vacanze in Matera, even in Puglia. After spending two weeks in Puglia, we FINALLY could have real rest here in Il Sasseto with so much hospitality.

Beautiful house in the most perfect location right in the centre of the Sassi of Matera. Really well-equipped and comfortable, the hosts were wonderful as well.

A place managed by a Host unique for her availability and friendliness, the house is very large and comfortable, in a very strategic position and complete with every comfort.

Excellent modern and stylish room located only 5 minutes walk from the old town. Breakfast was delicious and generous.

The best apartment to stay in Matera, really well thought through and just beatifully, carefully finished.

I do hope that people visiting Matera and those who are looking for accommodation there will read my review of Vivere nei Sassi.

An unforgettable stay – highly recommended!
First of all, Alessandro, the host, is absolutely incredible!

The room was very stylish and spotlessly clean, with everything you could possibly need. It’s also conveniently located close to the city center.

The room is gorgeous, located in the heart of the city, a nice touch from the host was to give us for free snacks and drinks (not alcoholic), the price for the room was fair.

We stayed in the big room for two nights, everything was perfect. A unique experience and excellent service.

Centrally located great value room-only accommodation, no breakfast included. Clean spacious room, however no view. Simple decor & furnishings. Tv. Coffee machine and supplies.

Was a great option for us driving a car. Easy to park on the street (free) and to reach the center/sassi within minutes walk. The place is clean, modern, comfy.

Lovely people, cosy room and amazing view🥰 Highly recommended.
